Decided to go to the edinburgh market for the weekend but looking at hotel prices in edinburgh were too high. We decided to stay in stirling and jump on the train. We found this place via a booking site. We were a bit hesitant due to the previous reviews but for £102 for 2 nights b and b. We couldnt...

This place is really good, room was freshly decorated and very comfortable. Very good value and the breakfast was great. Must mention the staff, really friendly and helpful especially the lovely woman doing the breakfasts, did not get your name but you are a wee star, keep up the good work.

Just a quick stay for us as functional visit to Stirling. Lovely place although more "basic" as it was before. Good for overnight stay and nice and central. Staff were really nice and friendly and breakfast was excellent!! :) Shelf in bathroom is needed as no space for toiletries but very clean and shower great too. All in all a...

Booked to stay here for my Yoga Training Weekend. Good location. Manager and staff polite, helpful and friendly & accomodating. Lovely comfortable double room and ensuite. Parking was great too. Very good value and great customer service and welcome. Even an iron and mini iron board in room. I will certainly be booking again to stay for my future yoga...

Very central to town centre with free parking. Friendly receptionist who gave us a double room instead of twin room booked. Room 18 was on 1st floor and had a modern bathroom. Wasn't the biggest of rooms but adequate. Put heater on (lots of dust on top of it, needs a clean) as room cold when arrived. Mugs for tea/coffee...

Just returned from staying 2 nights. We're attending a wedding in a nearby hotel. Room -lovely and clean, decent size. Could do with a mirror in bedroom rather than just bathroom..difficult for drying and straightening hair!! Also as ground floor, lovely big Windows, but blinds would help. Either had to pull big blackout curtains closed or leave open in full view of car...

My partner and I stayed for a 6 night stay. For a week-long stay, we seemed to have been given the smallest room they had. The entrance to the room was very small. If you were an overweight person, you most likely wouldn't have been able to fit to enter the room. Other than the tiny room entrance, the next...

This was a pleasant surprise once we found it and arrived! I guess that's why they call it the Lost Guest House!! We booked one night on our way back to Edinburgh. The main floor of the hotel had been remodeled. Our room was on the courtyard side of the building by the church next door. It was minimalist but...

This was the last of the guest houses we stayed at during our tour of Scotland and definitely the worst. It is a large establishment more like a hotel but without hotel facilities. The room was in need of decoration and was not very clean. The tiles in the bathroom were smeared with goo and the bath towels were hung...

Booked & stayed 1 night. A short walking distance to town centre. Plenty of parking at the front & back of house. The owners, very pleasant, are renovating this aged property, a small reception welcomes you(still waiting for a facelift) New carpets throughout. Our ensuite was clean, plenty of hot water in the shower only cubicle. Nowhere to put toiletries,...
