Great location, handy for town - Southport is worth a visit, and regular cheap train into Liverpool. Welcoming and helpful hosts, breakfast cooked perfectly, comfy beds, clean, warm hotel, spacious lounge.

Was well fed, rested and completely looked after at this justifiably highly rated hotel. Will try to book again if looking to stay in the area. Many thanks to Marie and Vic at the Hotel who were more than helpful and provided a home from home experience.

Stayed here for one night recently, located just off Lord Street and within easy walking distance of all shops, amusements and sea front. Lovely, cosy bed and breakfast - our room was quite big (two adults and a child) with en-suite, the lounge area was very welcoming and the breakfast was lovely also. The hosts, Vic and Maria are absolutely...

The shower could do with an upgrade, however: The room was nice and warm and spacious, the breakfast spot on, the car park and location very handy, and the warm welcome from the friendly hosts second to none. I'd happily return and recommend to others.

We booked this hotel for the location and value. The staff were very helpful and very pleasant indeed. However, the room was very tired and dated and the mattress had certainly seen better days, old springs made a noise every time I turned during the night. The shower room was in desperate need of an overhaul and the shower was...

We stayed for one night and could not have been made more welcome. The hotel is warm and clean and centrally located with a car park. Our room had a comfortable bed with good quality furnishings and we had an excellent nights sleep. Breakfast was very good and we felt that nothing was too much trouble for our excellent hosts.
