The hotel room was clean and tidy and so was all of the hotel. The Host Michael was superb in engaging with us and the other guest. Breakfast was spot on and cannot fault it. The hotel is in a great location and really close to everything. We had a really good day in Southport we hope to visit again...

Fabulous little hotel close to all amenities. I've stayed here several times and wouldn't dream of going anywhere else when visiting Southport. It's spotlessly clean and the rooms are cosy and welcoming. A nice touch is the bottled water and well stocked tea/coffee tray. Breakfast is cooked to order and you have a good selection of cereals and fruit to...

Stayed for just the one night, on our first stay in Southport, very reasonable price for the large and comfortable room, and very pleasant hosts! Would stay again. Southport itself is very pleasant, everything you could need is very close by and the general standards are very good!

Had a wonderful stay for outer first time in southport. Very reasonable pricing for a beautiful king sized room. Breakfast was lovely and the hosts, Mike and Tricia, we're very welcoming and friendly. We're definitely going to come back again.

Thanks for the great review James. I hope you, Bob, Neil & Steve made it on your mammoth cycle journey. I hadn't realised that Southport was the start of the Trans Pennine Trail, but I am glad that you chose The Braemar to set off from and I'm happy that we were able to look after your bikes and equipment...

Thanks for the great review and I am glad you liked my breakfast. Come and stay with us again next time Chelsea are playing in this area, or just come and see us again anyway. You definitely need to try the Mexican food from Fuegos next time. All the best for the future Michael & Trish

The Braemar is perfectly situated for all amenities…shops, beach, entertainment etc., and I’ve stayed there for many years. So I was rather dubious when I heard there were new owners. I needn’t have worried. It’s still spotlessly clean, breakfast was delicious with lots of choice. There were some nice new touches in the room, which didn't go unnoticed. It has...
