Stayed here whilst attending a wedding nearby so did not use the room much. Family room was nice and big and great for what we needed. Location ideal too just a 10 minute walk into the centre of Southport meant the street was nice and quiet. Breakfast was lovely too - just a shame we didn't get more use out... More

We had room 6, the family room with one excellent kingsize bed, and 2 great single beds in the room. All 4 of us had a great nights sleep. The room was very clean and had... More

Only stayed but one night but found this B & B to be very clean and the owner was very friendly and helpful. Location was good also. The breakfast was very nice. My only comments would be are that you can hear everyone walking around upstairs etc but for one night it didn't bother me and also the mattress was... More

At the end of breakfast we were joined by a family that were extremely noisy. I have to say they looked and sounded like they were... More

A lovely family ran hotel just a short walk from the centre. A friendly welcome, lovely rooms and excellent breakfast. Very quiet area at night so good for a nights rest but only a short walk to the shops, beach and arcades. Would definitely return.

My husband, baby daughter and I stayed for just one night recently. The hotel is tastefully decorated and the staff were friendly. We stayed in room 1 which was a comfortable size, very clean and the bed was so comfy! The hotel is situated in a pleasant, residential area so no need to worry about noise. We didn't have breakfast... More

My Wife and I recently stayed for a few nights at The Carleton House, this was a return visit as we have stayed there in the past, I'm glad to report that our stay was as good this time as it was previously, that is to say it was perfect. The room was large, expertly decorated, very clean and comfortable,... More

booked for one night to stay over after a works 'do' and chose this based on previous reviews. We weren't disappointed. The whole hotel was spotless, very comfortable bed and lovely old building.
