We thoroughly enjoyed our four night stay in the Leicester. We were made very welcome by Cliff, the owner. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious, cooked by Cliff's wife. There was a really good selection - cereals, cooked. The hotel is just off the main shopping area in Lord Street, so very central. We will certainly come here again.

Five of us stayed at The Leicester B & B as we were going to Southport Theatre. Owner Cliff could not have been more welcoming and set the tone for our visit. The rooms were pleasant and well-appointed with thoughtful touches throughout and there was a very comfortable lounge for guests with an "honesty bar" to record drinks. Breakfast next...

The Leicester was recommended by a friend and I'm so glad we took her advice - eight of us stayed for 2 nights over the weekend. We received a lovely welcome from Cliff and from the moment we arrived nothing was too much trouble. All of the rooms were comfortable & beautifully decorated and the breakfasts were delicous. The little...

This was my second stay, this time I stayed in a single room but still had all the luxuries and comfort. The hotel is located just off the top of Lord Street so very quiet location, mattress super comfy, quality duvet and pillows. The hospitality tray is plentiful and in another league compared to others I have seen throughout the...

Stayed for 1 night with my mum as we were seeing a show at the theatre. The location was perfect as we within walking distance of everything. We had single rooms which were spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was excellent and there was plenty of choice. Cliff was the perfect host and was very helpful advising us...

This place is fab and with new addition of free Wi-Fi and a smart telly in the rooms, what more can you ask for. I was there alone for a dinner evening at the local theatre and convention hall.. Nothing was too much trouble, bags were carried up to room.. Clear instructions of the room and emergency 'stuff'.. safe deposit...

We were welcomed with warm smiles and made to feel comfortable from the start. The rooms are spotlessly clean and styled with a beautiful mix of contemporary style yet keeping a rich homely feel due to no expense spared decor. Nothing was too much trouble and the friendliness of Cliff and Jane was lovely. All needs are catered for no...
