Newly refuburbished room, hence the smell of paint. Small. En-suite probably the smallest I've come across in a hotel. Had only a small towel rail, so it was cold. Nowhere to hang wet towels or wet swimwear.Towels still wet on day 2 of stay. No instructions for the safe, and no "In the event of fire" notice in the room....

Booked a room as a surprise for my wife's birthday. Arrived just before 7pm as traffic was a nightmare and was shown to our room which was clean, well maintained and had a lovely four poster bed. Asked about food and booking a table in the brasserie and were told no problem and a reservation was made for quarter to...

I booked this hotel on recommendation of my daughter who lives nearby. It was my wedding anniversary so I was keeping my fingers crossed my good lady would like it (she is not easy to please and used to high class hotels). I was a bit worried it was only 3 star but I need not have worried! Staff were...

Tastefully decorating hotel interior, good restaurant food and wine. All staff were on hand whatever we needed. Revived by a sauna after a hearty breakfast and left for home, totally...

We stayed here overnight as a group of friends celebrating a colleague's retirement. We were all looking forward to this break and were not disappointed. We arrived lunchtime and went straight to have some food. As we were going out in the night we chose from the bar menu of baguettes and ciabattas although we were offered the restaurant menu....

Peter, After reading your response to my review of your hotel the last thing I'll be doing is removing it as when I left the review trip advisor asks to confirm that my review was a true & honest reflection of my experience. I would like to point out that as for you calling me bitter & twisted I think you'll find it's more likely the other way around & its you who is bitter & twisted, almost every negative feedback I've read of your hotel is met with threats of you wanting to take people to court for slander ect. Maybe you should look at it more as constructive criticism & do something about making the hotel better rather than just trying to belittle the customers that have had an unpleasant stay at this hotel. Id also like to add that out of everything I wrote on my review the only thing you could bite back at (which you do on every negative review of this hotel from what I've seen) was the part where I wrote "somethings the Hotel should take note on & could have done to improve the place BESIDES putting a match to it" By all means take me to court if you feel the need but my comment was NOT written to entice anybody to do so. As for the hotel being sympathetic towards is if by that you mean turning the music back up 30 minutes after complaining then yes you were very sympathetic (that's sarcasm by the way incase your narrow mind can't get to grasps with it) I'll look forward to reading whatever negative response you post in regards to this. On a lighter note if you do decide to invest some money into replacing & solving the rotten/damp issues within your hotel give me a call I'll do you a good deal on building materials. Much love Gary. PS Merry Christmas xx
