Good location to Ilfracombe access is via lanes but not too difficult, if you need a quite location with great views of the local area and village. A very good warm welcome as owners are very friendly and helpful, nothing is too much of a problem, price reflects facilities as there is no bar or onsite entertainment which is great...

Hi there, thanks so much. I agree with everything you write. We do not provide facilities like a bar or entertainment like holiday parks and do not intend to at all. You are quite right that parking is tight when fully booked. Congestion can be caused if a guest brings more than one car (not you I appreciate) which we...

My partner and I found this amazing place on the Hoseasons website. We stayed in the Exmoor lodge which was so lovely and comfortable. The owners were great, very welcoming. Would definitely go back and definitely recommend to anyone who wants to get away from it all. Beautiful setting in a beautiful part of the world. 10/10

Myself, my parents, my brother and our dog stayed here last week for 3 nights. We arrived about 3pm, so earlier than the check in time stated but that was no issue as the owners explained the set up of the lodges and showed us to the field to walk our dog - as they had to clear up our...

Hello, thanks so much for your informative feedback. Those birds, heck, that's never happened before, I was trying to present a calm impression but getting them out wasn't easy!! Glad you liked the area, having 2 pubs within walking distance is a positive, and we do agree that the atmosphere on our quiet site is friendly and welcoming. Even if...

Just spent 4 nights in one of the lodges at grattons and don't have a bad point to make about it. The owners are extremely kind and helpful and very welcoming. The site is extremely quiet and peaceful and the area has stunning views. The lodge was cosy and clean and had everything you could need for a short break....

Thanks so much for the great feedback and useful info for other potential guests. The Sawmill pub has just changed hands and been completely gutted, now really really nice with excellent menu, contemporary interior and friendly staff, highly recommend. There are indeed two pubs within 15-20 minute walk of our site as you say. Ye Old Globe is central to...

If you want a quiet place to stay Grattons Cedar Lodges are perfect. The lodges are of a good standard. Our lodge although basic was clean and well maintained. Due to the quiet location on a hillside coming back from the excellent Globe pub in Berrynarbour village could be a bit of a hike up a steep hill for some,...

So glad you enjoyed your stay. Thanks so much for your positive feedback. Ye Old Globe is a 16th century inn, great for an atmospheric social drink to help ready you for the hike up the hill back to your lodge! We also have a new pub just opened on Friday last week, The Sawmills has been completely renovated very...

Absolutely fantastic just like expected. Well equipped lodges short walk to town/beach. Dave always happy to help. So quiet and peaceful we regretted we couldn't stay longer. Definitely looking forward to come back some time.

We look forward to having you back too! Thanks so much for your kind feedback. I would maybe just caveat the "short walk to town/beach" for other readers. The nearest town is Ilfracombe which is 3 miles away, a harbour town that gets better and better each year as Damien Hirst and others plough money into the area. The nearest...

Just returned from a weekend break from here. I booked via Hoseasons. I contacted Hoseasons to inform them we would be arriving late. They were useless. The woman couldn't find the park I had booked let alone give me the phone number. I found the park details myself and emailed them. Within minutes I had a response from Dave and...
