I stayed here with a group of friends intent on tackling the Devon Coast to Coast cycle ride. It proved the perfect place to stay as it is at the top of the hill just outside Ilfracombe. The accommodation was exceptionally clean, warm and comfortable and the proprietors ensured our bikes were safely stored overnight. Breakfast was freshly cooked by...

Our group of seven cyclists started the Ilfracombe to Plymouth Cycle Ride from the North Coast and booked in at Swallow Barn, Mullacott Farm. This is an active farm where the owner has diversified into holiday lets, camping, caravans and accommodation on a B&B basis. We arrived with a trailer and van and the bikes were quickly stored safely in...

We only booked to stay here as a last minute decision to join my sister, niece and nephew. We arrived first and found it an odd atmosphere but friendly enough. Our room was a door that directly went into the dining room. Room was as expected and a decent size however as the room linked the dining room you could...

I was looking for somewhere to stay the night before we caught the ferry to Lundy and chose this because of their excellent offer to park while we were away for free. What a find! It was efficient and so welcoming with good accommodation and a truly excellent breakfast! I will definitely be going back one day.

A warm welcome at this farm Bed & Breakfast. Lovely clean rooms and a delicious breakfast with home reared sausages ... would certainly recommend a stay here. Not too far away from Ilfracombe and also ideal for visiting this part of Devon.

Spent five nights recently at this B & B. Superb location. Very quiet but close to local amenities. Very clean, comfortable room. Great breakfast using own produce. Very accommodating owners. Can recommend downstairs rooms.

We were lucky to find this place after needing to change accommodation at short notice. It's a lovely family run B and B where they were very welcoming. The room was lovely clean, comfy and easily accessible. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and they were more than happy to change a few things for my fussy little eaters!...

We stayed here last year more or less the same time of year nothing had changed and it is a very pleasant place to say. We had a ground floor room this time and enjoyed having the patio out side the door lovely place to relax with a coffee and listen to the ducks etc.

Stayed five nights. B & B just about as good as you can get. Spotlessly clean room with quality en-suite facilities, particularly the shower. Bed and pillows very comfortable. Our room was in a converted barn with exposed beams etc. Floors creak a bit and occasionally voices could be heard from other rooms but all added to the charm of...
