This is a typical english guesthouse in desperate need of renovation of the rooms, wallpaper hanging down, stained carpets and furniture from last century... the owners are very nice and helpfull people, the breakfast very good and homecooked and if you are looking for a place with oceanview this is the best place in Ilfracombe, half the rooms are almost...

Great location, on walking distance from the town centre, the tunnel beaches and the cliffs. Ideal place to stay if you enjoy drinking something at a terrace, swimming and walking at the seaside. The owners were friendly and attentive. It cost some time to figure out how the shower works and unfortunately we didn't have a room with sea view....

A hotel in an ideal location in the centre of Ilfracombe. It's very well run and the owners delightful. The building is old but maintained and very clean, it did not have the soul ripped out by installing lifts :). My room was an airy ensuite double with a view overlooking Ilfracombe. The sea views were spectacular if you had...

Delightful couple and very helpful providing excellent early breakfasts and huge packed lunches. Superb sea view, right across to the Welsh coast. Very good for the town centre and harbour in this charming town.

Lovely sea view from our top of the house room, but the bed is very old and like me tired, I am able to feel the springs, so a very uncomfortable night! But the price is very reasonable, and lots of nice touches in the room, full set of toiletries including shaving kit and travel toothbrush and toothpaste. I can't...

Stayed for one night. Great location in the centre of town. We had the top room which means a lot of stairs but once you climb to the top the room was perfectly good. We didn't have the sea view but the view over the town was great. The shower took a while to heat as the water had a...

Booked this on a last minute type web site. Lovely room at the front of the house. The owner was slightly concerned about where i was and she called me to make I was ok. In fact I was a few minutes away from the guest house. Lovely breakfast on Sunday morning with a good view onto the sea.

We booked this guest house by chance on Laterooms.com for a short notice trip to the coast, my only criteria being a seaview. Upon arriving at the guest house we found the owners to be kind and gracious with a sense of humour to match. The Victorian building was in a good shape considering the age and proximity to the...

this is a nice traditional B&B, very well located just a few yards from the harbour. Up a short slope and right on the cliff edge, some bedrooms on the rear and the dining room have wonderful views out to sea. Our room No.2 on the first floor was warm and cosy with a great view and was very comfortable...
