I booked this hotel at the last minute through a third party website. First impression was poor as we had to haul our luggage from a nearby chargeable public car park after a long journey from Scotland. The third party website mentions free parking and only in the finer print does it mention limited. 6 or 7 spaces for 100+...

Room was excellent, sea view. Plenty of room and storage for cases etc. Comfortable bed, spare blankets if needed. Breakfast was well cooked and plentiful. Evening meal also good. Good choices. Special diets catered for. Dining room staff very efficient and helpful.

Great location in Ilfracombe more or less at the bottom of the hills by the sea, across from the landmark theatre and a few minutes walk to restaurants & Pubs. Parking is hit and miss with 8 spaces for 200+ rooms! However there is local pay parking all around. The staff were friendly and welcoming, a lift is available to...

Have just returned from a 7day stay. Travelled as part of a large Alfa coach party. Have used this company for several trips and have stayed in several of the Leisureplex hotels. I think that the Imperial hotel is probably one of the friendliest in the group. Staff were always pleasant and helpful. The food was plentiful and well cooked....

Arrived to a very genuine and friendly welcome and all the essential information I required was explained. The hotel is owned and operated by Leisureplex / Alfa travel. I was fortunate enough to be given a twin room for single occupancy so the room was a very good size. There was no view to speak of as the room was...

This is a very well situated hotel that provides very good value for money. It is slightly dated and the car parking is limited. However, the staff at reception were polite, friendly and helpful. The rooms were fine too. It's not the Ritz, but you get what you pay for and the Imperial Hotel is well priced for what it...

Don't know where to start. Good point: it is on the sea front. That's it. Bad points: smells of wee fas soon as you go in, folding wheelchairsnext to front desk tell you the average age is about 95. Hasn't been decorated since WW2, peeling and faded wallpaper, loo seat half off, matresses apparently made from old wooden pallets, carpets...

First time we have traveled with Alfa, nice coaches and friendly drivers, we had Harvey for the week who was informative on the tours. When we arrived the hotel manager came on the coach and informed us of the meal times and the area. The staff on reception were friendly and helpful. Our room was huge with lovely bathroom and...

Had a week in the Imperial hotel with Alfa coach tours. First impressions very good. The manager and staff were very pleasant and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The food was very good with plenty of choice for both breakfast and evening meal. All diets were catered for, vegetarian, gluten free, light meals etc, something for everyone. Our waiter,...
