Very comfortable, friendly atmosphere hotel, I can not find any criticism against a well run hotel.Room 421 was spacious but the view out of the window was of the adjacent property. The restaurant service was excellent, especially MARIA who was so charming. The only downside was the ugly "flowerpots" of the Landmark theatre, opposite.I recommend this hotel for more mature visitors.

Not bad for short break. Would not want to stay any longer. Bingo every night and cheesy entertainment from 3rd rate singers. After second night,we had to leave the room. You get what you pay for,so can,t complain. Our room was always clean. Fluffy towels everyday, and a very nice cleaner. The food is geared to the older generation,so it centred...

Our room was clean and spacious. The food and service was good but most of all the staff were so friendly and helpful. My daughter was ill and taken to Barnstaple Hospital while we were there and the Manager and Reception staff really put themselves out to help us.

We had a very nice stay at the hotel and were made very welcome. It is a very well run hotel all of the employees worked very hard in all the departments of the hotel....

Tired, dated decor. Worst hotel breakfast I've ever eaten and poorly trained waiting staff. The location is good and we did have a lovely sea view though. There was a club singer and bingo in the evening and the hotel was packed with OAPs on 2 coach trips. Our breakfast order had to be taken twice as the first waitress...
