Like another reviewer I don't think we are the target market for this hotel. We travelled independently but the majority of guests were with a large coach party. The best thing about this hotel is ALL THE STAFF - everyone was extremely helpful and friendly. Our room was ok, it was clean and comfy but a bit dated and, unfortunately,...

I don't think I'm really the target market for this hotel- I got the impression it's aimed squarely at the older market (and coach parties for that market). However... the hotel was easy enough to find, situated next to a gorgeous but now sadly disused Berkeley Hotel. Parking can be hit or miss, the on-road parking outside the hotel is...

Took my nan away on a coach trip holiday and had the pleasure of staying in this lovely family run hotel. Nick was a charming host and holds great entertainment nights, always on hand if theres any issues and full of praise and recomendation for Ilfracombe. Sandy was lovely and even borrowed my nan a mobility scooter when we had...

Have just spent 5 days here with a coach party and had a great stay. Must be one of the friendliest hotels ever and Nick was a fantastic entertainer. Some areas are dated but bedding and towels superb. Menu was basic but food was hot and plentiful and always served with a smile. Mobility was an issue for some more...

We went on a coach holiday to this hotel and, our first impression of our room was not particularly encouraging because, the same as the hotel, it looked at bit dated, (although we had a beautiful en-suite with a walk-in shower). This was probably because it was built in the mid-19th century. Having said that, the food and the service...

Just had 6 days at this hotel. Food good, staff friendly. Not really suited to people who can't manage stairs. Says wheelchair friendly but saw people struggle a bit. There is a lift but only takes about 4 people at once. Entertainment is in bar area and is quite loud, having said that we had a room on 2nd floor...

Just returned from a 5 day break with 55 members and friends of Maidstone NHS Retirement Fellowship. We received a very warm welcome from this family owned hotel. The rooms were all spotlessly clean, the food very good and both the service and entertainment excellent. Very good value and would recommend this hotel to any group holiday organiser!
