This is a delightful guesthouse that is run by a very friendly couple - who also manage to run a successful restaurant in conjunction with the accommodation. The actual location of this guesthouse couldn't be better - right on the harbour...with all the sounds that conjures swimming all around you.

Just spent 2 nights bed and breakfast at the harbour lights in ilfracombe and I must say my wife and I were very happy with everything. We were about 20 minutes earlier than planned, but that wasn't a problem, we were welcomed by the owner who told us where we could leave our car, and were taken straight to our...

Very tidy clean rooms. Sea views in most. Friendly helpful owners. Easy to find but parking is a minor issue perhaps due to nature of the town. Nearby in public car parks but very busy small streets. Good fresh breakfast. Overall excellent value.

We were allocated a spacious bedroom in an excellent situation with excellent views of Ilfracombe. All the staff were extremely friendly and obliging. A good breakfast. Obviously personal choice, but our mattress was far too soft which inhibited a solid night's sleep. That aside, we were happy.

We visited the harbour lights twice during our stay at ilfracombe, both times the food was excellent!!! The service was great, friendly and attentive ! Very cute restaurant, and very close to being fine dining, the food and experience as a whole is worth the money in my opinion! Great restaurant !

A first time visitor to Ilfracombe may find this hotel hard to find due to the one-way system but this is a real "hidden" gem. It is moments walk away from the harbour and very handy for the Lundy ferry. Once you are aquainted with Ilfracombe, finding your way around is straightforward and there is a good value long-stay car...

After a horrid experience with our first accommodation choice, we called up the hotel and were greeted with a warm reception. The owners were absolutely lovely and so helpful. They were quite open about the numerous steps to the room and the potential noise from the pub opposite which was helpful. It was my birthday on the Saturday and Ruth...

We arrived at the hotel and was greated with a smile by 'Nick' who was the owners son. He was very helpful and as the hotel doesnt have parking advised us of the best place to park which was in the long stay carpark 5 mins walk away from the hotel. We were put in room '9' which was right...
