We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 day trip with Cairngorm travel. Andy our driver was courteous and knowledgeable. The Duke of Gordon hotel staff were very attentive and the food was marvellous. Being piped into our special final nights meal really brought a fitting end to our fabulous holiday. We would highly recommended Cairngorm travel to anyone. We're looking forward to... More

Stayed with wife and friends for 2 nights on DB&B deal for £89 pppn. Room was comfortable and clean, breakfast was mediocre but freshly cooked. Dinner however was very poor with small portions. First night I took the cottage pie which was a dollop of mince which was extremely unappealing and tasteless, dessert was non descript and tasteless. Second night... More

Stopped here for lunch two adults and two kids, impressions outside were very good and this continued inside, but all went horribly wrong when the food arrived. We asked for no mustard on the kids sandwiches but lo and behold when they arrived they had mustard all over them, needless to say we complained only for the server to start... More

Terrible experience. The first room we were offered was outside the hotel. Cold and damp and the TV was not working. It did not have any phone connection to the reception. When we complained we were offered a room in the main building. At first sight it looked really nice, clean and warm but when we went to bed we... More

This was our second trip to the Cairngorm Hotel this year. We were greeted by Gordon on our coach. Our room was the one we requested, clean and very comfortable.
