This B&B has been run by Janet and Roger for 21 years and they have provide for every need. It's conveniently situated on a street above the main street with a pedestrian lane that takes you down to the main street, but the elevated location gives you a superb view over the roofs of the village towards the mountains. The bed was very comfortable, the en suite lacked nothing. The biggest bath towel I have ever seen was so soft! Toiletries are provided. The shower was fine for me, but it's not large, so I could imagine that someone with a larger waist measurement than me might struggle to move. The cooked breakfast was up to standard, and I was particularly impressed with interesting flavours of homemade yoghurt, as well as various homemade jams. Rhubarb and ginger was my favourite. All the guests sit round a table, so I talked with French and German couples. It was good to get a chance to use my German and we had a good chat. Janet also provided extra home baking which she wrapped in silver foil for us to take away. She and Roger are obviously very knowledgeable about the area and very willing to give advice to tourist on where to go and what to see. Breakfast is served at 8:30, which might be a little late if you were planning a long day walking the hills, but I believe earlier can be arranged. There is a drying room. I was very impressed with the standard of accommodation at what was a reasonable price and would always look to go back there if I'm in the area.

A lovely warm welcome at Janet and Roger's beautiful home. The autumnal view from my bedroom window quite took my breath away, the tree tops and manicured lawn with the statue of Pandora looking after my car. Every detail to enjoy the most perfect stay is meticulously thought of. I'd forgotten my hairdryer, on opening a drawer there was every possible need I could wish for, to clean my shoes, brush my clothes, and a complete sewing kit too. And I could see every angle to dry my hair on the triple mirrored dressing table. And an oh so comfortable night's sleep in the gorgeous sleigh bed with beautiful bed-linen, Very quiet too, as the villa is set back and on a quiet Terrace looking over Kingussie. I'm sure if I'd forgotten my toiletries, the selection in the en-suite would have met every need! Lovely hot shower and very simple to use, just press a button and already set to a perfect temperature. And wrap around soft and plush towels to keep me cosy, honestly, I felt so spoilt. I eat quite light at breakfast, so it was most perfect to have a selection of fresh fruit and delicious home made lemon yogurt and my most favourite Scottish pancakes with home-made blackcurrant jam. There were so many more home made preserves to choose from, I'd quite forgotten half of them as Roger talked me through the selection, I'd already set my heart on the blackcurrant jam! A guest sitting room too, I didn't need to use as I was on my own, but I could visualise enjoying a time with my family or friends. I'd love to return and linger for so much longer. Chatting with Janet, I learned a little of her interest in Bonsai, and was so delighted to be shown around the garden, with more than 30 Bonsai trees in the most stunning setting. My stay was a delight. A treat and a pleasure. Thank you both so much for sharing your beautiful home.

I had an amazing stay at Glengarry B&B. In fact, it was so good that I have extended my visit after the first night. The house and the garden are beautiful, the room has a fantastic view over the mountains and it’s spotlessly clean. The bed is SUPER comfortable (I asked Roger for the mattress name in order to get one back home)! Shower was also great with toiletries and fresh soft towels provided. Breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented : yogurt and fresh fruit, cooked breakfast at your own choice from Glengarry’s menu, home made marmalades and finally a different home baked treat every day. Janet and Roger are great hosts, very friendly and helpful. I loved Cairngorms, loved Kingussie and absolutely loved the Glengarry B&B! Thanks Janet and Roger!

Beautiful stone Victorian Villa built in the late 1800's in a quiet location to tour the Cairngorm Mountains. Janet and Roger were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay making us feel at home and taking the time to talk to us. Our double room, the Squirrel, overlooked the Spey Valley and Cairngorm Mountains, and our daughter's adjacent room, the Wren, was a cute, compact twin room; both with en-suites, which Roger remodeled himself. The huge bath sheets were luxurious! There was also a family room to congregate! Great internet! Janet's Full Scottish Breakfasts with fruit parfaits, homemade rhubarb/raspberry jam, and homemade baked goods to finish were delicious! Lucky for us, the Cairngorm Funicular Railway had just reopened, and we were able to take it up to the Cafe and hike to the top with a guide to see the spectacular views! The outdoor Highland Folk Museum was only 3 miles away with Scottish History from the 1700's and a filming site for "Outlanders" with the Croft Thatched Houses. We also enjoyed the nearby Leault Farm shepherd's sheep herding demonstration with his border collies. I even got to help him shear a sheep! Thank you Janet and Roger for sharing your beautiful home and part of the world with us!

Stayed for three nights in the single room (wren). Warm greeting from Janet & Roger - this B & B is very comfortable with lots of nice little touches that make it standout. Great breakfasts with home baked treats each day. Parking and easy access to Kingussie. No hesitation in recommending this B & B if you are staying in the Highlands. Thank you for a very comfortable stay
