We stayed here for Xmas with friends, we were allocated chalets 4/5/6. Each of these chalets didn't have working smoke alarms, chalet 5 didn't have a fire extinguisher. What equipment that was there was 10 years old. Unfortunately there was a fire in a chalet & with the equipment being so old it took a while to get the fire...

After reading previous Trip Advisor reviews, we were not expecting luxury and so were not disappointed when we arrived. This was quite a last-minute find for the first week of the Scottish school holidays and we were happy to have found a self-catering base for four adults, one 11-year-old and two toddlers. The chalet was spacious and had all our...

The cabins do need a bit of tlc but they are clean , warm and comfortable and for price you can't complain. This was our second visit with no complaints again so it's...

We booked this chalet through a groupon deal a few months ago. After reading some of the reviews we felt it was much better than what we had expected. The chalet was clean and tidy and had everything that we needed. I will advise to bring towels and extra toilet roll though as it is self catering. We absolutely loved...

We are just back from a weekend at the Chalets, really enjoyed our stay, the chalet itself was very clean with everything we could have needed. I would say they won't be for everyone, as they are far from the new modern log cabins popping up everywhere, but we enjoy the quirky feel they have. The only negative I could...

My husband and I stayed at Altnamount to join family members who were holidaying in Blairgowrie. We were given chalet 11. Our first impression was of the damp smell on opening the door and the look of the whole area needing cleaned and refurbished. The furniture is old as is the kitchen area. All are in need of updating. The...
