Room was small and cramped but clean overlooking the dog friendly grass square. The meals left a lot to the imagination, but the serving staff were friendly. The entertainment was very hit and miss and the seating poor.

For a two star hotel you get what you pay for. Not a pleasant stay. Room cold, toilet took 20mins to fill back up, no hairdryer, pillars where flat, no spare plugs in room, no blankets, food was average, entertainment kept getting canceled, the only good things was the pool & steam room. Nice staff, clean rooms. Will not go... More

On arrival we didn't really have help with our cases as it was right at evening meal time so all staff were in dining room. I managed, but older and less able guests did complain about there being no lifts. I asked for room at the top and had room 3...it looked over the rooftops at the rear of the... More

Just got back from a long weekend at the Burlington Hotel. For the price it's very good value for your money. The food is pretty good overall. The rooms are clean but a little dated. You have tea making facilities but no hairdryer . The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Parking at the front of... More

We arrived at the hotel after a very long drive from the North East of England to be met by a hot meal! My request for gluten free food was met with no problem what so ever, which is still a pain in some catering establishments. The staff are lovely, the hotel is well worth its star rating and the... Just returned from a holiday with National to the Burlington and what a great time we had. The staff were brilliant you couldn't fault any of them especially Sue who looked after us in the restaurant and spoiled our little Scarlett. The rooms are a little dated but were comfortable and clean. No lift but only one main set of... More
