Hotel Tallinn Viimsi SPA is commended by many for its spotless rooms and spa facilities, though a few guests mentioned a shortage of complimentary towels. The hotel's offerings, including the spa and dining options, are considered excellent value for the price. Guests enjoy a tranquil atmosphere, thanks to its scenic location amidst the sea and forest. While the rooms are celebrated for their cleanliness and comfort, there are occasional remarks about the absence of air conditioning and noise. The service is generally lauded as attentive, with some minor feedback on responsiveness. The spa is popular for its variety of options, despite occasional crowding.

Visited the hotel using the package Hotel + Spa + Water Park. It was the first time. I really liked the hotel. Polite girls at reception. Everything was explained about parking, room, breakfast - dinner, use of spa and water park. The room was economy - family (for the child bed with nares), everything is clean, the view from the window is excellent, 8th floor, very warm, the floor is also warm, the bathroom is also very warm floor, dried there swimwear :). The spa is clean, lots of interesting baths, liked it; didn't like the pool in the Spa - very many people (plus drunken finks in the Jacuzzi, drinking and yelling), the sports pool is great, the water park is also very good, clean. the child suffered a minor injury, immediately everything was processed, taped, gave extra band-aids. Dinner and breakfast were good. A lot, good. Even the ice cream was :). A very nice woman who meets guests at a restaurant. Everything is very polite, unobtrusive, can joke. Even the woman who cleans immediately came up, showed what a trick when using the elevator :) I found all the staff very pleasant and polite. We'll definitely come back again.

Overall, we had a positive experience staying at the Viimsi SPA. The check-in process was smooth. We also bought SPA18+ access upon arrival. I would highly recommend the SPA18+ for couples. The sauna & spa side that is included in the hotel stay can be a bit busy, but the separate adult exclusive side had plenty of room and a calm ambience.

The hotel room key is a waterproof plastic bracelet which also grants access to the spa and sauna areas. In spite of being connected to your hotel room, this bracelet cannot be used to pay in the poolside cafés and bars. Every time you make a purchase, staff will ask for your hotel room number and you will need to sign a receipt for each transaction. All purchases will be billed upon check-out.

The SPA18+ has a poolside bar where guests can enjoy their beverages without leaving the water. There is a snack menu available which is fulfilled by the hotel's Black Rose pub and delivered to the spa area. The SPA18+ website states that their offerings include a garra rufa fish pool. During our stay this fish pool was out of service.

Bring your own flip-flops or sandals.

The breakfast buffet was basic but good. The one thing worth mention is the pancake buffet with ice cream, which was a huge draw for children in particular.

There is no air conditioning and the rooms get quite hot during the day. Our room was equipped with one tabletop fan. If you are a light sleeper, sleeping with the window open may lead to a restless night as there is a lot of traffic noise from the street.

Showering in the hotel room flooded most of the bathroom floor. The toilet was located right next to the shower stall, which had a shower curtain and a shower wall that didn't reach the floor. Water pooled on the floor around the toilet after showers. There was no floor squeegee in the room.

Rooms are not sound proof. You will be able to hear all and any louder sounds from above and all around. The mini fridge in our room smelled absolutely rank, like a used diaper. The insides of the fridges are likely not cleaned often or at all. The space in which the fridge was lodged had poor air circulation and as a result, the fridge ran hot and vented hot air all around it.

The hotel staff were polite and friendly in an understated and curtly courteous way. Flamboyant, personalized hospitality is not offered here, adjust your expectations accordingly.

I recently visited the Spa Hotel Viimsi Tervis and was very pleased with my stay. The hotel offers excellent conditions for rest and recuperation. Rooms are clean and comfortable, with modern amenities such as free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV.
Particularly enjoyed the spa with a variety of baths and saunas, Jacuzzi and swimming pools. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was delicious and hearty, and the hotel's location near the sea and the forest added a special atmosphere of calm and comfort.
I recommend the Viimsi Tervis Spa Hotel for those looking for a place to relax and recuperate. Great for a family vacation.

We went there for a 3 hours spa entry. The location with the saunas is actually very nice, they have various saunas, turkish baths and pools but there were several problems. First, there were way to many children. Of course they should be able to play in the two big swimming pools (and the waterpark) but do they really need to be in the saunas? There was a zeeo relaxing atmosphere. Crying children outside, 2 years old in the sauna, loud discussions from visitors... And some countryside music that was played very loudly in the sauna as well. Visitors never used towels in the sauna which might be because there are no free or rentable towels at the reception. The pool water was dirty in all three pools, brown things were swimming inside. We would never go again and wouldn't recommend it. If you want saunas, go to Iglupark in Tallinn instead. The Viimsi Spa was a great example on how you can have amazing facilities but with bad regulations and maintenance, transform it into a bad experience for visitors. What a shame.

Delicious and varied breakfast. The shower room in the room requires renovation. No shampoo, conditioner, etc., only liquid soap. The spa is very slippery! The price of the cocktails does not match the quality. The room is clean, but the refrigerator is very small. Even champagne doesn't fit!

H2O is great but only operating very limited hours not advertised during booking. One staff member was carefully watching the slides but her relief just sat on his phone on the floor out of sight of the security camera. Reception never once smiled or said hi as we passed. Spa check in staff were either on their phone or chatting and not at all friendly. Restaurant staff only talk to you to get your room number but don't even greet you.
Breakfast the worst I've ever had world wide. Choice was varied but mostly stale and all flavourless. Mostly the same choices appeared each meal for breakfast lunch and dinner and so you had ice cream for breakfast. They don't do apple juice but apple drink which is so watered down it is basically water. Both of us got sick.

Room very very basically furnished with a squeegy mop to help control flooding as the shower isn't self contained so floods.

Had to request a refund for enrtry paid in advance for H2) which wasn't able to be used due to it only opening Thur-Sun 1200-2100 and you have to check out at 1200. When H2) is closed the spa pool gets busier. The walkway between the spa and H2) also isn't heated so is freezing cold.
There are so many better hotel options so just visit the pool for the day like we used to.in Tallinn.

Trip was during the heat wave, we had a double family room and to our suprise there was no air conditioner in the room. None of us could get any sleep, it was a torture. There was no shampoo in the room, to our query the reseptionist was very snappy and behind our back said that the soap should be enough. Also no where to dry your swimming clothes. We booked 2 days through spa own website, we should have had complimentary water in our room- water bottles were provided only in the first day. Fridges in the room were bit dirty and the TV remote was very dirty.
My mum was kicked out from one sauna, cleaner lady had very little estonian, and my mum first understood that there is some kind of emergency and everyone must leave; actually sauna yoga started in 45 min.
Breakfast was nice and the service was polite.
The girl in spa caffeteria was really nice and polite as well.

Really bad experience!
Spa, Aqua Park (you need to pay separately), and breakfast were good. However, the staff was HORRIBLE. The hotel was informed that we wanted double beds but on arrival, rooms were arranged for all single beds.
During the night receptionist said that they didn't have bath robes to send to rooms, while in the morning they told us that there were not enough people to bring robes and suggested collecting them at the reception. Surprisingly, the receptionist refused to give bath robes and said that it was time for checkout and after the checkout robes were for an additional price.
During breakfast, my friend came in a robe and one of the waitresses/cleaning ladies give a remark to him that it's not allowed to come to breakfast dressed like that. While another girl who let us in for breakfast said nothing at all.
While all these happen in ESTONIA, the hotel displays the Russian flag at the reception and an "Award" from Travel.ru. We said that it would be nice not to have a flag there but they said we want to please Russian guests. The latter says everything about this hotel. if you decide to go to Spa, don't pay money for the hotel just get Spa and Aquapark access. Slava Ukraine!
