Nice place, nice room with beautiful view, very clean wellness and swimming pool, just I was in choke with the breakfast, buffet was empty (we arrived 1 hour before close no body refills the plates (sausage, water, sweet), it wasn’t breakfast for 4 starts hotel.

The luxurious Hotel Zochova chata located in the forest near the town of Modra is overrated because of the well-known hotel´s name and its location. However, the reality was a bit more sobering than the hotel's brilliant marketing. We chose this hotel for a corporate event held in December 2022. However, the quality of the food, service and overall experience was below average. The slow and unhelpful waiters and bartenders did not care and were not interested in taking care of the hotel guests, although the prices of the drinks are high enough (eg a shot of Diplomatico rum cost 10 Euros!). The whole experience can be described as poorly managed by the hotel staff and also the lack of food, which was also mediocre. I do not recommend this hotel for organizing any business event or for a personal stay. Exaggerated, expensive and bad service says it all.…

Great hotel set away from the busy towns in the area. 4* with excellent wellness set up, polite staff and a good selection on the restaurant menu. Easy access to the hotel with parking, and we stayed in a wood cabin style room with large veranda which was delightful in fact. Excellent.

I am not an existing customer rather an ex potential customer. Couple of days ago, I attempted to go through online reservation to book 4 nights family stay (3 people). I was shocked by information on 10Eur fee for in-building parking. Ok, maybe worthy of money so better to check more info. During the call, receptionist offered to avoid a fee by parking outside the hotel?! So I asked if it this a pro-customer attitude to send me parking somewhere outside the Hotel when I am still only considering the stay. The reply was devastating. Receptionist advised me to stop whining. I rather asked twice to make sure I understood. She repeated the same words with even kinder tone. Though literally stunned, I decided to give a hotel one more chance. So I reported this experience to hotel's marketing department. After two days, I received even more devastating answer than with receptionist which left me completely flabbergasted. Rather an expected apology was then followed by an explanation that receptionist was otherwise rather a very skilful professional (Really...and who cares?) And a proposed solution was a peak of arrogance. I was offered to avoid the fee by booking one of those most expensive rooms (apartment)!!! Just a remark in the end...in Slovakia, it is not covid as a primary reason for declining hotel business, instead it has been constantly ravaged by suicidal practices from inside this industry. It is not so difficult to build wellness, fitness or distinctive cuisine if you have money. Being able to communicate and sell services to customers, who also experienced foreign quality of all round service delivery, is for many hotel operators in Slovakia like a space trip, which is out of what is possible. The hotel is nice. In the middle of the forest. Quiet. We (2) stayed there for 4 nights in a bedroom which is for 3. (It was nice to have more space). Good double-bed, but with 2 separate mattresses.... The pillows were not that good, but still ok. We enjoyed the pool and resting in the sun on the beach chairs on the green. We did not use the sauna so I can't say anything about this. We did a lot of excursions by foot and by car to near by points of interest. Breakfast - buffet - was good and fresh, but for the juices. I mean, you can't serve Orange- or Multi-vitamin-juice made from instant orange. It was water with a touch of orange. But there were fresh fruits on the buffet. So better take these. Dinners, we did not book at the hotel as we decided to have them during our excursions. Very helpful and friendly personal in all areas of the hotel.…

I stayed in this hotel for one night only, fortunately for a business meeting. Nicely renovated hotel with good conference facility. However, safe in the room was not working and bed was extremely uncomfortable, pillow had plastic filling and was awful. Breakfast was on the level of thee star hotel.

Me and my boyfriend loved this hotel. It is located in a forrest that is beautiful during spring and winter. We enjoyed our stay to the fullest and our room was lovely and big enough. The wellness is well equipped with a helpful and very polite staff members. The food at the local restaurant is just amazing! Thank you. We are looking forward to visit this hotel next spring!❣

We booked wellness stay for 2 nights with massage, halfboard. Terrible halfboard menu, we cancelled and paid a la carte, breakfast of 2stars hotel standard, wellness stay for 500€ and no slot for massage, staff on reception was not helpful, neither nice. Dinner must be paid

On our way back to Bratislava from the Red Castle, we stopped in here to relax and have a coffee and pastry. This was an absolutely beautiful spot and had a lovely outdoor veranda. The perfect end to a perfect day.
