Lovely and clean, friendly staff. Room was big, shower not very powerful but was ok. Needed a mirror over near the dressing table so you could do your hair. Would definitely stop here again. Good location plenty of bars and not too noisy. Good sports bar next door.

The hotel itself is reasonable, although the rooms could be cleaner. Cobwebs and grubby corners. Seems as though it is trying to be a boutique hotel - without a great deal of success. But the breakfast is very good and the chef will cook fresh if what you want is not in the

Hi, Thank you for leaving feedback following your recent stay with us, with regards to your comments on cleanliness, although they do not reflect the opinions of the vast majority of our guests, we have taken them very seriously . For Hotel 52 thorough cleaning is an absolute must and we follow very strict protocols to guarantee satisfying results regarding hygiene and cleanliness. I will address this with our housekeeping team to ensure that this does not occur again. Regarding the noise it is stated on our website that the hotel is next to a bar which is open until 2am so to expect noise if you are staying in the East Wing, we always give guests the option to move to the West Wing or to cancel if this is not something they are happy with, we certainly do not treat it as a bit of a joke as we want all of our guests who stay here to have a positive and happy experience. On the other hand we very much appreciate your kind words towards our chef and your breakfast, Kind regards, Hotel 52

This hotel has lots going for it, great breakfast, friendly staff etc but they are outweighed by the negative, namely the noise from the bars under the front rooms. If you come here to go clubbing the you are ok but if you want to get a good nights sleep then dont book into the

is there parking?
Most of the parking is on the busy main street (no charge) and 3 in front of the entrance to the hotel. Very busy at weekends because of the number of bars in the area.

I do not understand why hotel 52 are still getting away with saying we warned you about the noise. Nothing on this earth can d escribe the horrendous noise that we had in our room. The floor and the walls were bouncing. They should be stopped from letting these rooms on a weekend. They are an absolute disgrace. Nobody should be subject to the level of noise. It’s alright saying the rooms are cheaper but I would not reserve them for a £1 a night.

Is this hotel near the bars
There are a few little pubs nearby in terms of walking. You can get a bus into Sandgate town (only about 10 mins max), where there are bars.

"If you want to wake up to sunshine stay in room at the front of the hotel. If you like it cooler head for the back rooms."
