One night stay in Whitley Bay to watch a band at the Playhouse. Hotel in excellent location on the seafront and just 10 minutes walk from the venue. Front desk staff very helpful on arrival and even showed me to my room which was very useful as it was located at the back of the property and would have been...

Parking outside only for approx 6 cars. Room on arrival was okay just lets say Premier Inn is far superior. Sea view beautiful it was so nice that we moved the sofa to look out only to find a LARGE EMPTY USED PIZZA BOX underneath it (room had not been cleaned properly). We also did not have a cup of...

This hotel is in a rather run down area of Whitley Bay. On arrival, we found there was no lift, so the older members of our group had to be helped carry their cases up very narrow stairs to their rooms by others in the group, as there were no staff on hand to help. Our room at the back...

Location of this hotel is not good huge regeneration of promenade taking place what would be a view of the sea is spoilt by a dirty great safety fence restricting the view and blocking the access to the beach. Our room was at the back of the hotel small and extremely dark unable to read the paper in daylight until...

It's not one of the bigger hotels but it was clean and comfortable. It is right on the sea front overlooking the sea. You can clearly see St. Mary,s Lighthouse and is so very handy to carry on up the coast to see the rest of the beautiful coastline or go slightly inland for beautiful countryside.

This demonstrates why Tripadvisor can be misleading. This hotel was fifth out of twelve when I booked, and I am sure that's right but unfortunately I didn't realize the standards of hotel in the area must be very low. For one night, I thought it was going to be ok until I went for a shower. Some water came out...

Stayed here for one night before surgery next morning at North tyneside hospital. Hotel was very accommodating as room I had been allocated was on the top floor but the lady on reception moved me to the first floor due to having a problem with my foot. My en-suite room was lovely and immaculately clean. Had a lovely meal of...

Lovely area to explore, friendly staff and the Itallian Restuarant next door which is owned by the hotel is well worth a visit. Plenty areas for walking and enjoying everything Whitley Bay has to offer its visitors. Excellent breakfast where we were joined by a pet seagull tapping its beak on the dining room window.

We found the hotel staircases confusing. The room was average. There was a view of rooftops. Having the window open meant the room filled with cooking smells. Bed was comfy. Television worked. The staff were all very friendly and pleasant. The breakfast was very good, self service which I like. All the reviews recommended the Italian restaurant which actually belongs...

Visited for afternoon tea with a friend who had purchased the voucher, upon arrival the air conditioning was on turbo so room was freezing. Despite being almost empty is was sometime before a lady came to serve us, when she did she provided a cursory explanation of the afternoon tea. The menu choice was very disappointing as you only had...
