We stayed at Ballaglea for 5 nights. Two wonderful hosts, Kathy and Nigel, provided superb hospitality. The house is a lovely restored farmhouse with fine views over Manx hills and countryside, quiet, peaceful and first class comfort. Yet only ten minutes from Ronaldsway airport, and handy for Castletown, Peel and Douglas. Accommodation was of the highest standard. Breakfast was excellent,...

My partner and I had just cycled over from Sulby to Ballaglea through Foxdale (phew !) and we arrived early at Ballaglea. My partner and I have stayed in B&Bs for the last 10 years. There's not a lot that sets them apart. Until you come to Ballaglea. Kathy and Nigel are truly the best hosts you could dream of. You feel more like you're staying with friends. All the usual stuff is there - beautiful views, great clean spacious room and...
