Cannot thank Mary and Haneffe enough for an amazing stay at The Savoy!!
Traveled to the Isle of Man for work over the summer and stayed in the Savoy for about a month in total over multiple visits. From the minute we arrived all the staff were polite and professional, each room I stayed in was spotless with great views of the bay.
Rooms were lovely, always well cleaned and equipped with large tv, hairdryer, iron with ironing board and well stocked tea and coffee making facilities. The bathrooms were always clean and plenty of loo roll left! Always had a great nights sleep.
Mary and Haneffe made every accommodation they could to make our stay more comfortable, making sure we could still get fresh towels, room cleaning and breakfast whilst working. Breakfast was amazing every time and the food at Haneffe’s was beautiful! They were able to accommodate for Vegan and Vegetarian diets which is fantastic. The bar had a wonderful selection of spirits which were much needed after a hard day.
The family that run this place are all honestly so lovely and they put their heart and soul into everything they do, I will definitely be staying with them next time I’m on the Island.

My good friend and I have stayed at the Savoy for TT race week every year (pandemic withstanding) since 2012 when Haneffe and Mary had just acquired what was a very tired and in need of a refresh Savoy Hotel.
Since that time they have tirelessly improved this hotel year on year to what it is today..a very welcoming, warm, clean, comfortable and one of the best Hotels on Douglas Prom.
The restaurant has become one the best places to eat and will be full most afternoons and evenings, the breakfasts are more than enough with plenty of selection and variety to suit.
Over the years we have become good friends and always looked forward to our return the following year and were always welcomed as if we had never been away. This year sadly was our last TT trip and we left with heavy hearts after saying our personal goodbyes to Haneffe & Mary but knowing that if we do get a chance to return a phone call to Mary and a room would be made available.
If you are visiting the Isle then have no hesitation in staying at Savoy Hotel if you are lucky to get a room as it is very popular.
Thank you to Haneffe, Mary & Family for all the good times and hopefully we will see you all again at sometime in the future.

We booked the Savoy for a for a place to stay whilst visiting IoM following our football team Bury AFC. All we wanted was a place to get our heads down after the match, but we got so much more.
The hospitality from Haneffe, Mary and the lads was second to none. They couldn't have done more for us from start to finish. Helping with an early check-in (given our very early flight), opening the bar and kitchen early so we could get some 'fuel' ahead of the match, putting the boxing on for us in the evening and when disaster struck and our return flight was cancelled due to fog, they pulled out all the stops and looked after us for an extra night's stay.
The building is clean and beautifully decorated, the food is absolutely fantastic! Location is excellent and price point is serious value for money.
I honestly can't rate The Savoy, Mary and Haneffe any higher, the rest of the reviews echo my thoughts.
Thank you from us all, we'll definitely be back. See you next season!

Fabulous friendly run hotel which deserves to be advertised on the Isle of Man promotional material.
I went with family to Isle of Man last week. This hotel is fabulous and couldn’t have done enough for my family. The beautiful clean smell as soon as you walked in had me convinced we were in good place. When we checked into our accommodation we had originally booked we were devastated to say least. The savoy saved our memorable trip with warm welcome and lovely rooms with a view of the promenade. The breakfast was amazing and nothing was too much trouble they catered for our allergies so we ended up having dinner there too. Would highly recommend this hotel and I know I will be back also.

I want to say that Mary and Haneffe - I am not sure if they are owners of this hotel or just fantastic employees - went out of their way last night to help my husband and I. We missed our ferry last night off the Isle and weren't sure when we could leave. We were there to see the TT race - along with thousands of others. Mary went out of her way to prep a room quickly that was available and was so kind and welcoming. Haneffe offered practical advice about how to try and get on another ferry and made us coffee in the AM. The hotel is attractive and clean, with a nice bar and restaurant. The house has vintage charm, including a winding staircase to the guestrooms (a lift as well if needed). If I found myself back on the Isle of Man, I would stay here again!

Genuinely cannot thank Haneffe and Mary enough for accommodating us at the very last minute when our original hotel was less than expected! Their hotel is impeccable. From first impressions we where not disappointed. Our room had the most amazing views along the promenade, was very comfortable & spotless. Tea/coffee making facilities. Toiletries provided. Fresh towels every morning.
All the staff we met where friendly & made us feel at home.
Mary even went as far as to go shopping to ensure we had gluten free products for breakfast.
We will definitely return & would have no hesitation recommending 🥰

I recently organised a party at the savoy hotel for a 50th birthday party, what a beautiful hotel with fantastic people and extremely welcoming. My family members that stayed there had the most amazing rooms , beautifully decorated very clean and fresh, Haneffe and Mary were brilliant hosts so I wound highly recommend this place to anyone. Probably the best hotel in Douglas by far, with amazing food. To everyone at the savoy hotel thank for a wonderful night and your hospitality 😊🙏

Well after reading and visiting the reviews of the savoy hotel...i write. The hotel is old actually 130 years old, she is good place to stay...open your eyes and look around and see what is left on douglas seafront. Falling down hotels, luxury apartments, pubs and clubs. I myself found my room very clean comftable, breakfast was superb, tracy the land lady was warm and friendly, I did not have any problems, just a pity more tradional hotels are not kept to same standards.

Rooms basic and very cold, heating only on for 2 hours a night... Not good in march!
Damp in room!
Food great, home cooked.
Haneffe needs a lesson in customer skills though....very rude and un- welcoming!
