Been coming here for too many years to mention. Never had a bad meal. Even since being taken over with new proprietor the original family who are still employed by the new owner can't do enough to please the diner. Fabulous as always. Will be back again.

The rocks is absolutely class. The food is exquisite and delicious. They have a good menu and can say the scallops starter is the best we have ever had. The prices are good and the wine was excellent. Great place to go highly recommended. The staff were really good as well.

Went for a lunch with local friends and it was a great choice. Staff couldn't have been more helpful, accommodating fussy children to a wife who is gluten-free, wheat-free, sugar-free, everything nice-free. The food was fantastic as was the local Belhaven beer. Would recommend the sticky toffee pudding if you have room - it was exquisite.

What a fabulous restaurant!! I have various allergies and there was nothing on the menu that I could eat or actually wanted to eat! After a quiet word with the chef, he was an absolute superstar and made me a spinach risotto with extra Parmesan which was to 'die for'! He also made a plate of penne pasta and fresh...

We stayed here for 6 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The owner is lovely, very friendly, chatty, helpful, but....don't ask him to make the toast! The staff were all friendly and chatty. Pamela all these things with smile and wonderful laugh. Food was good, breakfasts were excellent although maybe a selection of yoghurts would add to the cold table?...

Ha HA, toast is obviously not my speciality !!! I still think it was a power surge that caused the over browning ;-). Please come back soon, Bobby

10 of us spent a night (now wish it had been more) at The Rocks to celebrate a birthday. We had a sea view room and the views were amazing, as were the clifftop walks. The staff were very attentive and the food was delicious. We were lucky to have a room on our own to dine which made it...

Although under new management, The Rocks continues to be the best place to eat in Dunbar. The food is fantastic, the staff friendly and efficient, even explaining to my American companion the meaning and make-up of several items on the menu.

This is a very hard review to do because the hotel has such potential with fabulous location , a great restaurant and really helpful staff and we enjoyed our stay. The showers were hot , the toiletries and coffees good ,and the room was clean but the whole place is really in a shabby condition with communal doors that were...

Well a little disappointed at your 3 Stars, considering your good comments on the rest of your stay. We took over the Rocks a year ago this month, and have already invested in excess of £100,000 in refurbishments, mainly to items which you would not see. The new heating system, new hot water, rebuilding of all the loo's, addition of...

We spent 2 lovely nights at The Rocks in the luxury bedroom, it was terrific. The bath was in the bedroom a first for us but really fun!! The view when you relax in the bath was great. The hotel itself is beautiful, rustic and very Scottish and the food is amazing. The staff were very attentive, chatty and welcoming,...
