Stayed for two nights last weekend with our friends, as part of a Breakaways deal. Nice welcome from Eddie, the manager and Mark, the bar man. Apparently the rooms on the deal are all at the back, overlooking the railway line but there was one room left, albeit with twin beds, with a sea view so we paid the little...

Only nipped in for a beer while we were waiting for relatives to change . The staff in the bar were very nice with a good selection of drinks for a hotel bar. I get the impression the hotel is more for the "mature" crowd but we did notice a few youngsters in there who were loving it. Its a...

We are a couple in our 40's and stayed here for two nights . Our room had a perfect sea view but the room itself although clean was very dated to say the least . The bathroom had mould in the shower and was the smallest i have been in. The water pressure was awful and kept going very hot...

The entrance and public areas are tired and in need of some work. The room was much the same but the bathroom and bed were both clean. It is a pity that the view was not matched by the quality inside. The breakfast dining room was a pleasant surprise, bright well preserved and comfortable. The breakfast itself was good and...

Had a great 4 days stay. Friendly staff. Rooms could do with some updating. Had the most beautiful sea view from our bedroom window. Would definitely stay there again. Short walk to all the shops and plenty to do there. Breakfast at Preston sands hotel was excellent too.

This hotel is nicely situated, across the road from the beach. Paignton's town is within easy level walking distance and the hotel has car parking. The hotel has beautiful sea views from the lounge, Dining room, and some bedrooms. Food is good and entertainment excellent for a hotel of this size. Comfortable bedroom, friendly staff, all you need for a...
