The experience was great, clean rooms, maybe a little dated but it served a purpose well, I slept like a log most nights. The only thing is the noise from the pier and traffic, even the seagulls and the timing for breakfast as it was hard to get out of bed for 8.30, nice breakfast though, but a bit limited... More

Sefton Lodge has to be one of the best kept secrets of Paignton (and Devon for that matter), its prime location at affordable rates make it ideal for a couples getaway or a stay for business. Recently my fiance and I stayed here for a week, the rooms were a good size, very clean and the view from the balcony... More

We stayed at sefton lodge for four nights this week. On arrival we couldn't park so the owner moved his car to allow us to park. Room was very clean the bed was really comfortable ! The breakfast was excellent and the proprietors were really friendly and helpful would recommend the b & b to anyone and will definitely be... More

First Parking is a bit of a car shuffle around the back lane, the hotel has it's own car port for four cars. Over the weekend it looked like two cars had been there a very long time and where blocked in by a third car on the road, leaving space for two cars one blocking the other in (one... More

After a weekend at Sefton Lodge, very disappointed!! Rather slap-dash my husband and I felt. The location of the B&B is good, right on the sea front, however, the accommodation does not match the location or the reviews seen on trip advisor prior to our booking. Not the greatest start when arriving and being greeted by many family members of... More

I booked this B&B on the reviews from trip advisor. We are not fussy people, but unfortunately the rooms weren't very clean. there was a nail file left from the previous visitor, and the sink and toilet hadn't been cleaned. We were taken to our room on arrival, and told that breakfast is at 8.30 only. and that there was... More

Stayed here for a few nights over the Easter period as a last minute booking. Lovely welcome from Steve the owner who saw us to our room. Room overlooked the car parking area, but this didn't prove a problem with noise at all. Plenty of drawer/wardrobe space in the room, and a kettle with tea and coffee-making facilities. The bathroom... More

My wife and I stayed here with our son for 2 nights over the bank holiday and were extremely happy with the warm welcome and value for money. Quite often we have paid twice what we did here and only received half the welcome we did here! The rooms were nice and clean and we were very happy with our... More

Arrived on Friday afternoon and stayed till Monday over Easter weekend, Greeted very warmly on arrival, shown up to the room at the rear of the property. Room was clean and functional with tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast was absolutely lovely with a selection of cereals, orange juice, and well cooked English plate with toast and a choice of... More

We have had another great week, Steve and Wendy have done us proud, meals and rooms are fantastic. This is our third year in a row seems to give us more enjoyment every time. Also Brixham, Dartmouth and Salcombe are all within easy distance. We will be there again in 2015. Dave and Val from Halesowen West Mids.
