We went here for the first time for afternoon lunch on Good Friday, What a lovely place, it's quite big with a lot of off shoot rooms but still retains the cosy atmosphere . Atmosphere was also very friendly and the food was fantastic ! Service by the staff was great. Well recommended !

I've been here a few times with my husband and the food is always amazing. If you're in to HUGE portions, then this is the place for you. Our last visit was a family meal for my nieces birthday and nobody was disappointed with their meal. Would highly recommend a visit.

Visited the Old Mill for a works night out. Even though we hadn't booked they managed to find us some tables we could push together. Food was beautiful with enormous portions and the service was lovely. Will definitely go again.

Nothing too much trouble for Lene and the staff! Beautifully decorated conservatory for our wedding meal. (With decorations I'd dropped in myself) Fabulous 3 course dinner of leek and potato soup starter, roast beef main and apple pie & custard dessert. My family had booked rooms overnight too...as had we, it being our wedding night. We all thouroughly enjoyed our...

Just had one night here while we were visiting the East coast and what an extremely pleasant experience. We were greeted by an extremely friendly young lady who quickly booked us in and showed us our room. Our room (I expect they are all very much the same) was a generous size and very well appointed (tea/coffee maker, TV, iron/ironing...

We stayed 5 nights in a newly refurbished room which was kept spotlessly clean. The shower was wonderful! The bar/restaurant area was so relaxing. Even though there were a lot of tables you never felt it was crowded because of all the different eating areas. Food was excellent. So much variety, good quality and ample portions. In fact we never...

The Old Mill has managed to get all the elements that go to make a good hotel, just right. The staff are friendly and helpful without being over familiar. The room was very clean, comfortable and modern. Comfortable bed. Really nice home cooked food and a good breakfast- this is a great place to stay.

Every staff member we encountered was unfailingly charming and helpful. The rooms were very comfortable and well equipped and the bar cosy. Food was excellent - I had one of the best steak and kidney puddings I have ever eaten. Our team was very well looked after and our stay at The Old Mill made the business trip even more...
