Extremely clean room and bathroom. New facilities, excellent value for money. Staff was easy going to quick upon arrival, beds were pre made up for the children, the whole stay was easy and efficient. Will stay again!

Hotel's Favourite
Stayed in the Durham North Premier Inn for a short 3 night break. As it's a Premier Inn you pretty much know what the rooms and amenities are going to be like before you get there - and the Durham North Hotel didn't disappoint. The check-in was easy and quick with very friendly receptionists. The room was a decent size, had a nice comfy bed, big TV and tea and coffee facilities. It was perfect as a base for our weekend trip. There is a Brewers Fayre restaurant on-site that is reasonably priced and serves a good breakfast and evening meal if you don't fancy travelling. The park and ride to Durham city is only a short 10 minute drive away and a steal at £2 per person for parking and a return trip to the city. I'd certainly recommend this hotel to others and for the price we paid for the room it was an absolute steal. Very handy for the coast, Beamish and other attractions. Plus, in this current climate the hotel has sensible restrictions in place for guests and extremely friendly and helpful staff running the hotel.

Stayed here for 2 nights at the end of October. Excellent COVID protocols throughout and hotel spotlessly clean. All the staff were friendly and welcoming and ensured your stay was a happy one. Would definitely stay here again.

This was our fourth visit to Durham North. Nice clean and well maintained property with friendly staff. Convenient for Arnison Centre and A167 which allows you to go north/south without going through the city. Good breakfast at next door Brewers Fayre, but unfortunately more limited than pre-Covid.
