Only stayed a couple of nights and have to say the hotel was comfortable. The new rooms at the front of the hotel, facing Rock Park, are bright and airy. There was some noise early n the morning around 5.30 with a sliding door on a van being rammed shut (one of the issues of having a window open, but...

I stayed here for two nights while visiting Barnstaple, I stayed in one of the upstairs rooms facing the park. Initially I was worried about road noise but this wasn't an issue! The staff are fantastic and the breakfast was cooked perfectly. The hotel is only a 10 min stroll from the town and I would certainly stay again.

This was our 2nd stay at the Park Hotel. We were fortunate to have one of the re-furb rooms . And as the title says. Excellent! We were here earlier in the summer, and liked the friendliness of all the staff and the location. We will be visiting again next year.

Looked forward to spending the night here as the appearance from the street gives this hotel a modern feel to an independent hotel. The Reception is small but very neat and well presented and i was served not by a plastic smile but with a real desire to please. Located on the front of of the hotel, it was quiet...

Recently stayed here for three nights while attending a wedding. The new refurbishments are delightful and the reception, bar and dining areas give you the feel you are in a high class hotel. We stayed in a room in the Garden Court which is outside the main hotel building. The room itself (316) was very comfortable and a decent size....

I stayed for 2 nights in Aug when in Barnstaple on business. The hotel has recently had a refit and looks lovely ! The bar area is really comfortable and modern. What really stood out though was the fabulous bar staff. They were very friendly and helpful and would talk to you too, which when you are on your own...

Booked a night at the Park Hotel at short notice. Everything very nice and clean and tidy. It looked like they're still renovating quite a lot of the hotel but it didn't cause us any inconvenience or noise. Large free car park and a short walk into town.
