These lodges are very rustic, but comfortable, the surrounding area is picture perfect, 3 main lakes ideal for fishing,I agree with some of the comments that some improvements should be made to some of the lodges, but the new owners without doubt will sort this. The earlier comment made by yimekay about narrow roads, well ....WELCOME TO DEVON

We thoroughly enjoyed our peaceful week here in November - just us and our small dog. The lodge was perfect; a real log cabin, tucked away, clean, cosy and warm. It was well equipped and very pretty. We particularly loved that the dining area had views of the forest on three sides. The undercover swing seat was perfect to relax...

Arrived to a very narrow road which made entering and exiting very stressful as there are no passing places. Also, our car was scratched badly because of this. The location is in the middle of nowhere which made it difficult. We stayed in the Hideaway lodge which sounds one of the worst as the other lodges have good reviews. Our...

We have just returned from a wonderful 4 night break at the Foxglove Lodge in Bulworthy Forest Lodges, the lodge was big enough for 6 people and huge for the 2 of us. The lodge was very clean and had everything you could need, a proper home from home. All cutlery, plates, pots and pans along with iron/ironing board, towels...

My partner and I spent a long weekend in Oakapple, this was our first stay at Bulworthy Lodges, but definitely will not be our last. The lodge was spotlessly clean and a warm welcome from Liz when we arrived to run us through the essentials. The lodge was more than adequately equipped to make a real home from home feel,...

My wife and I spent 7 nights in Acorn lodge. The place was spotlessly clean on our arrival and had everything we needed for our stay. It was in an excellent location being the last lodge at the top of the hill just before the forest walk so there was no passing traffic. The area is so tranquil with only...

I recently stayed for a week in the Larches Lodge. Large lodge and very clean and well set out. We had some space outside to sit as well as plenty of parking out the front. Hot Tub was a perfect addition and so private and lovely sitting in there at night as well as the day looking out to the...

Just returned from our 9th vusit to bulworthy lodges. Love this park. A very welcome from the new owners liz&mark. Every thing was clean and cozy as usual. Fishing was great but you have to know how to fish that lake. Floating bread for the carp.. Plenty of lovely walks around and about. If familys are looking for some peace...

We recently spent a week in Hunters Lodge at Bulworthy Forest Lodges. The lodge was very clean on arrival and we had a lovely view over a lake. However, the experience was spoiled by the access roads. The main access road is long and is only wide enough for one car, and there were very few passing places. This made...

Just returned from a week here. The lodge was very clean and in a beautiful location. All bedrooms were a good size and the kitchen was very well equipped. The only negatives are the beds are quite uncomfortable and creaky and the oven takes forever to heat up and you need to allow twice as long for things to cook!...
