For the price of a Travelodge, we booked this room last second. All things considered, it was not a disappointment. For £50 a night, we got a decent room, nicely decorated, warm, clean, and a hot breakfast every morning. The hotel is a 45 minute drive to Lake Windermere, in an... interesting town. The views are, well, either some roofs...

Staff very friendly, rooms clean and comfy. Only downside was, the weather was glorious so, the rooms were very stuffy and hot at night, could do with air conditioning. We would stay there again but probably not in summer time.

First time in the area for a friends party. The staff were friendly enough and room was clean. The room was nice but could have done with a bit of a spruce up however as there were a few marks on the wall and a chip missing. Bathroom was clean and modern but dont be alarmed if the toilet sounds...

Was here on business for 2 nights and the hotel is in a great location, the little town is full of great restaurants at fantastic prices (would recommend Francesca's or the Brown Cow a short and cheap taxi ride away). Now to the hotel itself...The bed is comfortable, the shower works well & the TV works. Yes, the rooms have...

After reading the trip advisor reviews 2 days before my stay I was really worried about stopping here! However was presently surprised the room was a lot larger than expected, clean and nicely decorated. Room was extremely hot, however we were on the top floor and it had been a really hot day, plenty of windows to open to let...

Stayed at the Imperial for two nights. Booked myself a single room. It was a lot larger than I expected but very basic inside. This surprised me as the rooms on the internet look fabulous. I only paid 40 per night so I guess you get what you pay for. Though the hotel should expect their guests to be disappointed...

Having been to Francescas for a meal we came here (Aspire) for our usual after dinner cocktail, an Espresso Martini. I always drink these and have done so ever since it opened, they have become my favourite and have always been very nice. Last night however they had a new barman who made them completely wrong, I asked if he...

I was very disappointed of this hotel. Firstable I got definitely different room number of my "booking paper", different from the pictures online, terrible location (cars driving all day, all night, if stronger wind and rain windows getting wet and soundy, plus church bell every 30 min - hour). Because room was for two people I find only one cup...
