I recently made a reservation via Booking.com site to stay at Jeffersons for 3 nights... but I had to cancel it due to some unavoidable reasons. While the cancellation policy was clear to indicate that it will be free of charge had I done it 2 days back before 23:59, it completely slipped out of my mind and I forgot...

I stayed at the Jeffersons a few times in 2016 and 2017 and strongly recommend! The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are brilliant and the location is excellent. The breakfast service and offer is absolutely brilliant.

Excellent location and the staff are very good and helpful. Unfortunately they have no business center which makes it a bit inconvenient. This is very minor, everything else is above average. The rooms are well appointed except for dressers, there's no where to put your clothes away if your there long term. The food at the pub is good but...

Pubs in Barrow are mainly for evening drinkers with no food. Wedderspoons is a bit of a children's playground and the Italian provides rather more that with which you can cope. In view of this Jeffersons is a bit of a find. Although the decor is a bit stark and high chairs are to the forefront, you get a welcome...

The Jefferson hotel was not bad! The staff were nice the room was clean. They had attempted to bring the room decor up to date but the finish was not of a high standard and it still felt like I was in shoe box. I would say if you are a couple the rooms might be a bit small as...

Thanks for your review. All of our rooms have recently been redecorated and and are maintained on a weekly basis and as such I don't understand your comment of "the finish was not of a high standard" not something I've ever heard before. Our breakfast offer is included in the room price and includes 10+ cereals fresh fruit, muffins, croissants,...

I stayed here for a few nights on business. The hotel is spotlessly clean, the rooms are spacious and the bed was comfortable, great nights sleep. The food is excellent and the staff are very helpful and friendly. The lack of a car park is not an issue as there is a big car park next to the town hall...

My Husband and I booked last minute into this hotel whilst visiting the Lake District on the 30th July 2016. The hotel was exceptionally clean and the Staff couldn't have been more helpful. This is definitely a place I would return to when in the area as the food was good, the only drawback is that there is no on-site...

Excellent clean and tidy hotel. Very welcoming staff (family run). Only stayed the one night but would happily stay again if in the area. It's places like this that prove it's worth not just picking the chains every time! Only ate breakfast which was fine with plenty of choice so can't really comment on food much, although if I were...
