Breakfast was lovely with a good selection of choices. The room was a good size and we were upgraded to a four-poster bed, which was very comfortable. The...

Upon our arrival the location was found to be ideal, central to Windermere and Bowness, both 15min walk. Parking as noted was provided and without struggle, entering the premises we found great delight in its presentation and more importantly cleanliness. Booking in was straight forward and welcoming with added information provided to ensure we obtain the maximum from our stay....

First impressions were good.Clean and pleasant room, and nice staff. We were in room 3. Sadly the floorboards in the room above creaked terribly with every movement, which really disturbed our night. Then, the bed in the room above squeaked badly!!!. All a bit disappointing. TV was also tiny and ancient. Nice place but floorboards need some attention, and that...

Checkin was simple and receptionist made us feel really welcome by asking us about our journey and what we had planned during in our stay. Room was nice well furnished, bed comfy and warm. Couple of bits needed attending too in the bathroom, but it's...

We stayed at woodlands for 2 nights recently, this was a gift from our daughters for our 25th wedding anniversary. We have stayed at The Woodlands twice before and have always enjoyed our stay, but this time I have to say we were very disappointed. Our room was room 3 at the front. The room was quite tired, with the...
