Having seen such good reviews on Trip Advisor, we decided to book Fair Rigg as good location for exploring The Lakes. We were not disappointed. The owners Ian and Christine were very welcoming and helpful ,the room was spotless and spacious, and the good breakfast set you up for the day. It was my partner's birthday while we were there,...

From the welcome to the breakfast it was wonderful. The room was tastefully decorated with a wonderful king sized bed and the softest of bedding. Information within the room...

Yes, we had another lovely stay in another lovely B&B during our holiday in the UK, thanks to Ian and Christine. Everything in the other reviews is true. I received some lovely chocs because it was my birthday - that was really thoughtful and a wonderful surprise. In addition, the restaurant recommendations were good and we enjoyed our meals at...

We booked a double room and were allocated room 5 which enjoys a lake view. The room was bigger than we expected, having a sofa in it to sit and relax. The room was spotlessly clean and the linen felt really luxurious. The breakfast was good quality ingredients cooked well. It was a substantial breakfast to keep you going throughout...

We stayed here for 3 nights and were allocated room 5 at the top of the house. It was wonderful with a fabulous view over Lake Windermere in the distance. The room was spacious, light and airy, with a comfy bed, and a sofa, which you rarely get in a guest house. Everything was spotlessly clean. My only complaint, and...
