Probably one of the best hotels my wife and I have stayed in, in the UK. The staff were really friendly, smart and well trained. Being set on Lake Windemere the views were fantastic, weather permitting, and the grounds were wonderfully manicured. The one dinner we had which was 6 courses was the best meal we have ever had, wonderful...

I will be honest, this is not our first trip to Storrs, but it is the first time we have been since it's refurbishment and Conor Toomey took over the restaurant. We were luck enough to see 2 of the refurbished rooms and I have to say they we fresh and inviting, while still retaining the charm of Storrs. The...

What a beautiful hotel Storrs Hall is! The newly refurbished reception rooms and restaurant are tasteful and very relaxing. The view over the lake is stunning also. It is perfectly located just out of the hussle and bussle of Bowness, a taxi ride is £6 into the centre. We stayed in room 2 which had just been re-vamped and the...
