We stayed for 3 days and nights and we would recommend the Blenheim Lodge to everyone who is seeking a peaceful, idyllic and comfortable environment with very friendly hosts and very good breakfast. The most outstanding observation for us was the cleanliness of the room, and the comfort of bed and shower. The nature behind the lodge reveals amazing and...

My wife and I stayed here at short notice. There was a problem with the reservation via the booking company (my fault) but the proprietress was very helpful in fitting us in on the day. The Blue Room was clean and snug with a lovely comfortable bed, overlooking the car-park and the lake in the distance (see pics). The breakfast...

We had a very lovely stay! The bedroom (the Langdale room) was so much nicer than expected, we loved the four poster bed it was very comfy and the view was incredible. I almost wish there was less to do in the Lake District so that we could have had more time in the room! Breakfast was also delicious whatever...

This was a really lovely place to stay owners very helpful, friendly and hospitable. My room was immaculately clean and so was the rest of the establishment with a beautiful lounge to relax in where the owner made me coffee soon after arrival to sit and enjoy. Had a good nights sleep in the most comfy bed I've ever had...

Blenheim Lodge is our favorite B&B in the Lake District. The location is terrific - close to downtown Bowness-on-Windermere, close to the Dales Way, & terrific views of the Lake! The rooms are lovely and clean, the breakfast is yummy, and Janz & Robert are terrific hosts!

We had such a lovely stay at Blenheim Lodge - even turning up on the wrong date and still being put up in an outstanding room with lots of warmth and hospitality. They kindly agreed to switch around one of the accidentally booked in dates to help us out so we are looking forward to our next stay there in...

A very nice B&B with a lounge to use giving a great view of the lake. The hosts Janz and Robert were very welcoming and helpful. We were three ladies travelling together who all like our own rooms, so great for us that single rooms were available. A short walk down hill to the lovely town of Bowness with lots...

We stayed in Blenheim Lodge after reading the fantastic reviews on 'late rooms' where I booked the trip. Once arriving we were greeted by a loud car restoration project on the driveway which took the sparkle out of the tranquil surroundings. This didn't give us much hope of what the inside of the hotel was like. Our room wasn't ready...

Stayed the weekend at Blenheim Lodge with my husband and enjoyed the view of the lakes from the small actic room. Breakfast is chosen the evening before by guests and served between 830 and 915 but you can request and earlier sitting. Its only a short walk down the hill to the wonderful lake Windermere and all the shops and restaurants.
