19 of us spent a lovely evening with excellent food , drink and service. The only thing missing was a little bit of music to create a bit more atmosphere. Beautiful location and hotel. Highly recommended.

Booked this gorgeous hotel for 1 night for my boyfriend's birthday. We stayed on the night of the 30th of December and it was beautiful. The hotel was decked out in all the decorations still but wasn't too busy. Excellent service, really friendly without being obtrusive. The food in the restaurant was amazing! We really enjoyed perusing the menu in the...

A lovely, dog friendly retreat for New Year's Eve! Very friendly and profession staff, good location and beautiful views. Roughly a 20 minute walk from the centre of bowness and set in it's own grounds so still a quiet spot.

My discerning and difficult to please 86 year old mother and I stayed for two nights just after Christmas leaving the hotel on December 31st. Frankly I cannot find fault. The room, service and food were all perfect. The dinner menu is quirkily interesting with adventurous and delightful food pairings. When mother decided that the Lancashire Hot-pot didn't work for...

We stayed at The Ryebeck to celebrate my husbands birthday, what a wonderful stay we had. Nothing was too much trouble for the very polite and attentive staff, the rooms are beautiful and the food is out of this world. We will be staying again very soon.

Superb, excellent, lovely food: we have just eaten the nicest Christmas dinner there that I think I have ever had. The staff were magnificent, everything you could ever wish for, the last word in courtesy and helpfulness. The food is to die for. To say that we will go back is an understatement, if only it could be Christmas every...
