We stayed in Windermere over the weekend, as a treat I booked a couples spa day for my husband and I at this hotel. On arrival we were told we needed to pay £5 to park the car. No mention of this when I booked. The pool and sauna were OK Very basic, the spa much better than anticipated we...

Excellent break away, we have stayed here before and it is the perfect blend that makes a good holiday experience. The staff are superbly trained with excellent customer service skills being very evident in their approach.

Absolutely love this hotel, my second stay and both times stayed in a suite, they are worth upgrading to if not for the views but the space and luxuries. Lovely spa maybe just missing a jacuzzi but still worth a visit with a nice pool, aroma sauna, rock sauna and ice room. What makes this hotel for me is the...

My wife and I stayed here for a weekend break. It was everything we wanted, great location, clean, and most of all relaxing! Would recommend this hotel, and look forward to visiting again. Top tip: Make sure you book your car in to the onsite parking facility, otherwise you will struggle with parking

To be completely clear, we did not stay overnight at this hotel, just visited the spa and had afternoon tea as part of a package. On arrival at the hotel we were greeted by the valet (£5 charge) which was very convenient and saved a lot of hassle parking. Reception staff were efficient and friendly. We were seated in a...

Ideal location on the edge of the lake, friendly staff, comfy bed, big bathroom, got d breakfast. We drove and used the valet service to park our car. Reception staff were very helpful and organised a taxi for us later in the evening.

We visited the hotel today as a birthday treat for my sister, expecting the day to be relaxing and a little bit of luxury... Instead we experienced dirty robes, cold pool and dirty pool side and spa facilities. We came away really disappointed. Definitely would not recommend this place for a 'relaxing' spa day. The hour long treatment included in...

I stayed here with a group of 8 colleagues for a training course, the room I was given was amazing, a huge bed separate dressing area and an amazing view of lake Windemere, also spotlessly clean and comfortable, the food for the three days was amazing too and the staff were some of the best in England, special thanks must go...

Hotel lovely, room and views beautiful, breakfast to the room terrible. The staff were great and attentive, the hotel is situated in a great area with any pubs and restaurants around. The only disappointment was the dreadful breakfast delivered to the room, it was cold, burnt, rock hard, and not at all good value for money.
