Just returned from a 2 night break, taking my mum & dad. Mum is currently undergoing chemotherapy and was rather apprehensive about going away, even just for a couple of nights. However, our stay was absolutely faultless. We booked directly with Westbourne (works out slightly cheaper too). The rooms were exceptionally clean with some nice little touches. We utilised the...

Couldn't fault the Westbourne. We had a lovely comfortable long weekend here. It is ideally situated for exploring the lakes, room was very comfy, good breakfast and the owners are very welcoming and helpful.

We stayed here for one night on Good Friday, the B&B was easy to find, clean, well-situated and fairly priced. Breakfast was served promptly with a good selection of cereal, yoghurt and of course a 'full english'. I really enjoyed my stay here and would stay again next time we visit. The price was obviously higher than a normal weekend...

As bed and breakfasts go I must not be too negative about the Westbourne, however when we checked out the website with regards to the room sizes we ensured that we booked a large double room as the classifications showed that the property also contained small double rooms. On checkout we questioned our room size with the owner because we...

Staff were polite and friendly, it is only a short distance from the shops and...

We stayed at the Westbourne for 2 nights over the Easter weekend. We arrived quite early but luckily our room was ready so we were able to have an early check-in, which was a result! Our room was lovely and spacious with a good-sized bathroom. All very clean and homely. Breakfast on both mornings was most enjoyable! Bowness is a...

This beautiful guest house is absolutely immaculate. We stayed in room 3 with a four poster bed. It was elegant, modern and spotlessly clean. The owners were very polite, professional and helpful without being intrusive. The quality of the breakfast was first class. The location is perfect within a short walking distance to Bowness village. I simply cannot fault this...

What more can I say ! Booked the cottage for this weekend and wow. Was it definitely worth the money !!!! Extremely modern and tucked away from the rest of the Westbourne it was everything I'd hoped for plus more .
