A clean and tidy, large 5 floor travel lodge, had a lovely big room, very clean and tidy, got two good nights sleep. Well stocked brew facilities. Nice restaurant, good quality breakfast, scrambled egg as it should have been, would have been nice to have a choice of eggs and black pudding, decent breakfast, nice sausages and mushrooms, bacon ok....

We came to stay at the travel lodge in Newcastle as we were visiting family, greeted by a lovely young lady on reception (Amelia Rhead) who made our stay very welcoming after such a long journey Breakfast is fantastic and excellent prices, staff are very friendly and rooms are very clean! Quite a new hotel, clean and what is expected at a Travelodge.Bookex for 1 adult and 1 child, but on arrival found we were given a double bed, not ideal to share with my 15 year old son! Receptionist sorted out the issue straight away and gave us a room with twin beds, although it was made very much with...

Very good [if basic accommodation] - ideal fro a one night stopover. An excellent cooked breakfast was available in a purpose built Breakfast Room, The bed was comfortable, the shower was OK [personally I hate shower curtains rather than doors] and the room was a decent size.

Great location, in the centre of Newcastle under Lyme. Back rooms are better for avoiding main road noise if that affects you. It was sweltering in the room though. Staff had kept windows and curtains shut in daylight hours to keep the heat out - only 18 degrees on the day we were there, and gave us fans, but it...

A warm welcome by the reception staff . A comfortable bed and excellent walk-in shower. Close to the town centre and easy access to the bus station. Building work going on close by, so some noise during the day.

Stayed at this hotel on 2 occasions, the staff are lovely and really helpful but on both occasions the noise has been horrendous. Once from kids on a night out who decided to have a late night party and slam the door every 2 seconds, the second time from someone next to us blasting music at 2am. Luckily the staff...

Thank you for your review and we are sincerely sorry for the disturbance you experienced during your stay. Whilst we do ensure that a member of staff patrols the corridors in the later hours and we do request that guests observe reasonable noise levels, we do apologise that these measures were not enough to make your stay more comfortable.
