So... where do I start?? For a hotel that is in such a prime location with beautiful settings the rooms are a massive let down. In desperate need of a complete overhaul and modernisation. I called ahead to the hotel to ask if we could check in early as we were about half hour away (1.30pm) and was told by...

I stayed here for one night during my jurassic coastal trek. It was quite expensive for a single room (£60) but breakfast was included. The room was modern and comfortable but the door/ windows were so old that they were very breezy. The breakfast was lovely though! Perfect spot for hiking and views were incredible!

This is the forth time we have stayed at this hotel in the last 18 months, we always receive a warm welcome from the staff at reception. Our room was spotless, white bed sheets and white towels. Breakfast was amazing with as much tea, coffee, toast and cereal as we could eat. A range of hot freshly cooked food from...

I stayed for 1 night at the Riviera as I and some other friends were visiting another friend who lived nearby. I booked this hotel because of it's position(near the sea and near my friend) but also because it was extremely reasonable. I was pleasantly surprised by the room- sea view, recently done-up bathroom, good shower and a sea view....

We stayed one night in 217. The room was pretty good and refurbished and the breakfast was great. All sounds great! However the people in 218 I feel I know very well and I wish to stress they were not noisy at all. You could hear whole conversations! It was 11.30pm when they arrived back and we were in bed....

This hotel has so much potential. It is in a beautiful spot with fantastic views and the hotel itself is a quirky art deco building. But up close, it is desperately in need of freshening up on the outside. Check in was swift and the receptionist was friendly enough. As I’ve mentioned, the outside of the hotel is crying out...

My parents took myself and my younger brother on holidays to Weymouth during the 1980's, back then the trains ran through to the old harbour. I have so many memories of this place, and i was destined to re-visit as an adult. I booked several nights at the Riviera hotel and ive stayed there twice....it's that good. The hotel is wonderful...

We stayed for a spontaneous night away from march 8th-9th. The hotel is beautiful and the view even better! The room could use a lick of paint but otherwise fine. Special thanks to molly at reception she was a highlight of our stay! ( along with amazing view). She was welcoming, polite, charming ( shared a few laughs with us)...
