A marvelous hotel with large rooms in a perfect location - right by the Town Bridge. The staff are great and always on hand to assist whilst the atmosphere is reminiscent of years gone by. It's comforting to know that places like this still exist and it's definitely one to re-book.

We stayed from 15/8/16 until 18/8/16 , we had a family room (there were 4 of us) , our room was clean and quiet (we were at the back of the hotel)The staff couldn't be more helpful; breakfast was very nice and tasty , quite a lot of choice; the evening meal menu was ok (no children's menu), therefore we...

Ideally situated on the edge of town. A stone's through from main shopping centre, Brewers Quay and a 5 minute walk from the sea front and beach. Beautiful child friendly safe beach. The hotel is good, with friendly staff. Rooms are basic, clean, but in need of refurbishment. We booked on a room only basis, but have stayed here before...

Another visit, a few new faces but mostly the same staff and nice atmosphere. Great location, comfortable rooms and excellent breakfasts. It has a small garage but parking tokens (and advice) are readily available from reception. Perhaps a little dated and only 2 star but deserves higher, we find it ideal.

Stayed Friday and Saturday night 5/6 th August . We normally visit Weymouth once or twice a year . In the past from previous reviews you will see that we normally use the premier inn . Due to the Premier Inn becoming very expensive we decided to look around and found this very central hotel . It's only a two...

Wandered in, and asked at reception if we could use the dinning room as non resident. We were advised to ask the waitress for a table. We were politely shown to a corner table, and our drinks order was taken while we looked at the menu. After ordering our food, we sat quietly and waited. During that time another waiter...

The night club across the road from the hotel is so noisy that I had very little sleep. The noise from revellers went on for hours. Considering sleep is the main reason that I needed to be at the hotel I found this unacceptable. The only plus point was that the breakfast staff in the restaurant were delightful but I...
