Shame re negative reviews. My friend and I called in for Sunday dinner as we noticed the blackboard advertising carvery. It was very quiet (about 12.30pm) but we ordered a pint of lime and soda each and got two tickets for the carvery which was £7.95 each. We sat in the area near the carvery and the gentleman served us...

What a missed opportunity! Lovely position opposite the seafront and pleasant, friendly staff. Sunday carvery ( no other choice on menu) consisted of beef or pork and vegetables. Beef looked so overdone and dry that we did not try it. Pork was tough and rather dry. Vegetables mostly frozen. " Home-Made" stuffing - I don't think so. Dry Paxo. Ladies...

Stopped only for drinks but is on the front and not far from shopping and all other places to visit. Did look at menu and only a small selection available. Beach has great sand and plenty of things to view and do. Boat rides with jet skis not far away plus some great views. Shops are varied from the new...

We decided to call into The Dorothy Inn for lunch with some friends and our two hungry boys while on holiday in Weymouth. We should have walked straight back out! There was a musty smell in the air but as the boys were hungry we decided to stay. On ordering, we were told there was no chicken or pizza left...

Second visit this year first time back in May had lovely carvery meal but this time round not so brilliant no serviettes when asked was given toilet towels. Toilets were appalling with broken cisterns and awash with God knows what! For a pub in such a great position overlooking the Esplanade it really is a shame that the present owners...
