Against my better judgement (as their last encounter with this hotel was not as I would have expected). My parents decided to give this hotel another try as overall it was ok and the hotel had parking outside, which can be tricky in this area....More

Thank you for your review. I am sorry that our guests felt our staff were unhelpful. I understand the bags were taken to reception as the Duty Manager assumed they were travelling on the coach. I am sorry for the miscommunication, it is very unusual...More

I recently booked a trip with Daish's Holidays to the Prince Regent Hotel at Weymouth for my mum and mother in law as a treat, the photos on their website are very misleading, on arrival I had room 307 which was a disgrace, the hotel...More

Thank you for your review. It is not normal procedure if you book a sea view room for you to be allocated a non sea view room. I would hope you queried this at the hotel so the hotel queried it with our booking office....More

After booking in, each client should then go and book their table not one hour later. The hotel was very short of staff, felt very sorry for the waiter/waitress. In all the hotel was very short of staff in all departments.

Thank you for your review, I am sorry to hear that you found the dining arrangements unsatisfactory, there has been some staff shortages which have now been addressed, however I am sorry this affected your stay. I hope this will not deter you from travelling.

The Hotel Prince Regent is an attractive seafront property on Weymouth's historic esplanade with views across Weymouth Bay and the craggy Dorset Jurassic coastline beyond. The Hotel Prince Regent is regarded by many as the leading Weymouth seaside hotel. It's perfect for singles, couples and family holidays alike. It was purpose-built in classic Georgian style, but inside you'll see we've moved with the times and offer comfortable accommodation with free Wi-Fi access in all bedrooms and public areas. And with nightly performances in our beautiful Georgian ballroom - fully restored at a cost of nearly £100,000 - you'll always be entertained. Families are well catered for, with guest accommodation that can sleep up to five people. We are handily located close to the town centre, which is a 10 minute stroll along the seafront. With a sandy beach on the doorstep, this is the perfect spot for a traditional seaside break. Guests return time after time because of our high standards, seafront location, proximity to Weymouth town centre and great facilities.
