Me and my partner stayed here on Tues 21st and enjoyed it so much we stayed another night. John and Andy were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Room was clean warm and very comfortable. Easy access to sea front and all amenities. So all in all a lovely stay and we would def stay here again

Got this off Groupon. Real bargain. John our Lodge 'host' is brilliant with so much great advice which we took on walks and eating out. We had an upgrade too. All very clean fresh and newly painted. Breakfast was huge all you can eat buffet style at the Hotel 50 yards away. [No guesses who the waiter was !! helping...

We found a very warm welcome from John the manager at Timrick Lodge. Our room was upgraded for free and had the most comfortable bed ever! John arranged an early breakfast for us as we were setting off early to walk the coastal path. The breakfast was huge and really set us up for the day! Hope to return for...

This hotel is so much better than previous reviews suggest. Firstly a massive thankyou to all the staff who are all so friendly and helpful and especially John, if you need anything at all, he is on hand and nothing is any trouble. The rooms are beautiful, lovely, clean and fresh and have a really nice beach theme that goes...

Stayed here for a couple of nights as part of a groupon deal. Great value for money, lovely room with nice fresh décor and modern feel. Hotel is still in the process of being refurbed however other than having to go to the sister hotel (Richmore) for breakfast, there was no disruption or inconvenience. All staff/owners at both hotels were...

Newly decorated (not quite finished) so lovely and clean. Had a few technical problems which were solved even though there are no staff on site. Owners also have hotel round the corner on sea front so even though quite late still came out to our rescue. Make sure you read room description carefully one is really very small but for...

My girlfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights, it was very clean and the room was decorated nicely. We had to go to a neighbouring hotel to check in and out and for breakfast as this was unavailable at the Timrick due to refurbishment. However, this was not a problem as the other hotel was about a 1 minute...

Certainly a few minor issues but very good value B&B for the price. Functional, if a little cramped. My biggest grip was the size of our bed which didn't feel like a double. Biggest plus was the owner/manager who gave lots of local tips and advice.

Definitely work in progress as the B&B is currently like a building site- it would have been better to close completely instead of remaining open. My room was pleasant enough and very clean, however little things like being supplied with an ironing board with no cover and having to go to an alternative hotel for breakfast made the stay somewhat...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Purchased by brand new owners in July 2016, with 18 years of hotel experience behind them, this guesthouse has received a new lease of life! After having undergone an extensive refurbishment from new en-suites to re-plastering to new carpets and furniture we are confident that we are providing a clean and comfortable nights stay. Located just 1 minute from the Seafront and a 5 minute walk away from the town centre we are close to all the local attractions and in an ideal location. Each bedroom has a seaside beach theme which looks fresh, bright and slightly quirky. We have a Coffee/Breakfast Lounge, which guests are invited to relax in throughout the day. We serve both cooked breakfasts or continental breakfasts here although you can book either a Continental Hamper or a Hot tray to be delivered to your room. We provide free WiFi and free on street parking although we recommend that you book your parking with us. We are also child and pet friendly. ... more   less
