Turned up last minute. Seemed quite pricy (5 quid for local ale and food upwards of 17quid for a main). Looks like it's trying to be something its not. Charging that much one would expect salubrious and luxurious surroundings- all you really get is natural beauty. Definitely aimed at the London crowd, who seem not to expect much rather than...

Spent the weekend with my family, including my mum, at moonfleet. We had a lovely time. Staff very friendly. Decor lovely. Great activities. Especially the play area in the veranda. Rooms good and clean! Food lovely. Wine a little expensive though. Would be good to have a broader range of price on the menu. My daughter particularly loved the fairy...

Hubby booked afternoon tea here as a surprise while we were on holiday. All I can say is AMAZING!! Given a choice of where to sit we chose to sit looking out at the sea. All parts of the tea were amazing, from the sandwiches to the scones and the best selection of cakes I have had at a tea...

Staff were very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Clean, comfy room with sea views and balcony. Walk straight onto coastal path from garden. Delicious food, well presented. Enjoyed swimming pool. Fantastic facilities for families with young children.

We had our wedding at Moonfleet beginning of March and it was truly faultless. From Laura who was on hand to help us organise and plan our big day. So professional and most importantly organised ! Not one request was too much hassle, and we were glad she felt 2 visits were necessary to really get the menu options right...

Great location to get away from it all. Only had one night here but wished we had longer, if we get a chance to come back to the Weymouth area would most definitely come back to Moonfleet Manor. Arrived very late in the evening, but it was no trouble to the staff. All the staff we encountered from reception to...

I booked a stay at this hotel as it was on offer on Travelzoo and, as lovers of good food, we like restaurants that have 2 AA rosettes. The first thing that struck us was the amazing location which enabled us to enjoy a lovely walk and take some stunning photographs of the coastline. The hotel has a great feel...

Moonfleet Manor is just the sort of hotel you hope to find for a way from it all few days. Although primarily it is a family venue with the facilities you need to entertain children; it is also very relaxing even if you are past small children stage as we are. The décor is interesting with tiger skins on the...
