We were lucky to get a cancellation for room 9 over the Easter weekend. Bernie and Paddy and their housekeeper Gill are fantastic hosts. The room is lovely and the balcony is a real bonus. The whole hotel is spotlessly clean and well maintained, free WiFi was great and free off road parking is a real bonus. Will stay again...

Excellent hotel, great location with wonderful seafront views. Very convenient for the railway station, buses, beach, town and old harbour. Paddy, Bernie and Gill are lovely friendly people, we had a super break, would recommend this hotel without hesitation .

We spent 4 nights at the Bay View Hotel in Weymouth near the end of March 2017. We stayed at 4 other places on our 3-week jaunt, and the Bay View was our favorite. Paddy and Bernie and Gill were terrific hosts, providing us with all sorts of excellent advice for our visit. Gill was very helpful on the phone...

Great Entertainment provided by Mathew Rock and Mickey John Bull Thanks you Shearings for providing such first class acts in both these class acts. Mathew could sing and play any requests that people wanted. Mickey had people laughing with his dressing up.Very Well Done, Mathew and Mickey John Bull.

Booked the Bay View Hotel for a birthday treat, and made a very good choice. I hear they get well booked in advance, had a back room that was large and had everything we needed. Tea/coffee tray, cereals for breakfast ( no breakfast served) fresh milk in your own noiseless fridge, a nice touch. Many cafes near if you need...

We enjoyed a vey relaxing and comfortable Spring break. Staff very helpful and friendly, the guest rooms are very clean and comfortable. Beautiful views of Weymouth Bay from the room we stayed in. This was the second time that we have visited and we look forward to visiting again next year.

We stayed in room 7, a good sized room with a four poster bed, a great view of the front and extremely quiet and relaxing. There is a smallish but adequate shower and loads of tea and coffee. There is no breakfast of course but considering some of the awful greasy slop I've eaten disguised as breakfast in some places...

We stayed at the Bay View at the end of February and it was full. I picked this bed and breakfast for two reasons. The proximity to the sea front and the view of the beach from our room and secondly because it includes free secure off road parking. The parking is a six minute walk away but this is...

Very friendly and welcoming hotel, Paddy and Bernie are excellent hosts giving you recommendations of things to do around the area. The hotel doesn't do food but the hotel offers you a discounted breakfast around the corner in a lovely little cafe for £3.50 full English , toast and tea/coffee! Would definitely recommend to anybody looking for a weekend or...
