I had the pleasure of visiting Douneside House for an exquisite afternoon tea in honour of my Mum’s 60th birthday. This was my second afternoon tea here and it didn’t disappoint. For me the key to a good afternoon tea is the correct balance between sweet and savoury. Douneside

Are dogs allowed in the hotel? Are they restricted to non public areas?
Many thanks for your enquiry. Dogs are most welcome in our apartments and cottages but they aren't allowed in the main hotel building or bedrooms. There is a vast network of footpaths and trails from our doorstep - perfect for long or short scenic dog walks. I hope this helps but if you have any other queries please don't hesitate to contact me. Many thanks Marcel
