Arrived on a wet november evening to a warm and friendly reception. Room immaculate. Bathroom and shower spot on. Car parked 1 min from the front door and choice of eating places literally outside the door. Quiet nights sleep and freshly cooked breakfast. Well done Ray and Julie.

After staying in various Hotels and B&b's within Beverly over the last 9 months for business trips to the area, this is the best one for me. Room lovely fresh clean tidy and organised. Warm welcome on arrival. Free parking close by. Owners hospitality was excellent. Home from home, nice and quiet. Yes church bells could be heard nearby but...

This B&B is immaculate and on your arrival you are greeted by genuine, friendly, warm hosts. The cooked breakfast is delicious with generous portions. Fresh fruit is on offer if you fancy jazzing up a bowl of cereal. Our bedroom was fresh and modern with a very comfy bed. Happily stay here again.

We stayed in Beverley for two nights at this lovely little place. Ray and Julie, the owners were so kind and welcoming. The B & B is in the centre of Beverley, just a few minutes walk to the market square and to the new Flemingate shopping centre. The room was small but beautifully presented. Comfortable bed and great bathroom/shower....

We had a really good stay at this lovely B&B, right in the centre of Beverley. Although it does not have private parking, you can drop off your bags and Julie or Ray will give you a residents parking pass, so in essence you have free parking. We were lucky enough to find a place on Eastgate itself. Our room...

THE place to stay if you're visiting Beverley or the surrounding areas. Great location in the centre of town, short walk to Beverley Minster, nearby parking is provided and the B&B itself is gorgeous. Recently renovated with good-sized bedrooms and beautiful bathrooms with a powerful shower. Very clean and ambient. Breakfast was made to order and absolutely delish and Julie...

Where to start. Have just returned from a family wedding in Beverley where 6 of us stayed at 5 Eastgate. The hosts Julie and Ray could not have been more helpful or welcoming. It felt like home from home with an excellent breakfast catering for all our needs. Ideally located for the centre of town and the Minster with free...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Welcome to THE 5 EASTGATE A warm welcome awaits everyone all at THE 5 EASTGATE. Previously named The Eastgate Guest House, still owned and run by the same family for the past 51 years. Why the name change then? After downsizing THE 5 EASTGATE has been fully refurbished to a high standard. Maintaining the beautiful original Regency features which this historic house has, whilst hosting a contemporary look. As the original Eastgate Guest House was both number 5 & 7 Eastgate, we decided to start a fresh with a new name. So THE 5 EASTGATE was born. However it’s still business as usual, so all the things you’ve come to love and expect about Eastgate are still here, and much more. THE 5 EASTGATE has been accredited by Visit England, has 4 double bedrooms which are en-suite and 1 with private facilities. Rooms have digital flat screen TVs with 50 channel freeview, also tea and coffee making facility. Not forgetting the free Wifi… We’re very proud of our Breakfast Award and being part of “deliciouslyorkshire”, which means we use locally sourced ingredients from reputable suppliers only for your breakfast. Ideally situated in the heart of the historic town of Beverley. Within 5 minutes walk of the beautiful Minster, bus and train station. We want your stay with us at THE 5 EASTGATE to be on you remember and tell your friends and family about, for all the right reasons. We look forward to welcoming you to our home.
