We were cold and wet on a cold and wet February day. We had walked around the head land and arriving by the hotel, the aroma of Sunday lunch had all our mouths watering. We entered the warm and welcoming bar and after removing our wet outer layers we order hot chocolate and a beer of which both were very...

We didnt stay but Went there on Saturday for Father in law's birthday lunch .... and it as mediocre at best. Its a great location and the inside is warm and cosy but the food certainly didnt feel home made and all pretty basic. I wouldnt recommend for a pub lunch.

Been on a coastpath walk and called in just for a welcome pint- however it was Sunday lunchtime and we had arrived just in time before they stopped serving lunch and the smell of food was irresistible. Perfect roast beef with all the trimmings and served by welcoming, friendly staff. I have a small appetite and was so pleased that...

The rain had persisted all day but we braved it to Hartland Quay and had a very welcome drink in the pub. The location is spectacular to say the least and well worth a visit. We did not stay at the hotel or eat in the pub so cannot comment on those.

Booked 'The Cottage' for a 2 night stay with girlfriends-6 of us slept in the 3 bedrooms, beds very comfortable, lovely lounge area, stunning views to die for. Beautiful cooked breakfast served in the hotel, many visits to the pub where a warm and friendly welcome always awaited us, nothing was too much trouble. The owners and all the staff...

We had previously visited several years ago for lunch. This time we were enroute to Lundy Island via the helicopter from Hartland Point - 3 miles away. The weather was filthy but the double room was warm and welcoming. The bar food was excellent and breakfast the following morning was also excellent. Wifi signal was good but no mobile signal...

Good place to for a coffee. The views from the grounds are stunning; just for the views would be fine for me. Absolutely out of this world. Didn't stay overnight. Service good. Staff approachable. It was a bad weather day so probably didn't feel the ambiance.

I'd definitely say go for the breathtaking views and spend a bit of time exploring and working up an appetite then pop into the hotel/pub for some refueling. The location of the hotel is fantastic, perched on the edge of the world, or so it feels like. The food served in the pub area is pretty much as you'd expect,...

We stayed here for 3 nights in September. Our room on the first floor gave us a sea view in both directions along the coast. We were made to feel very welcome by all staff. The food in the Wreckers Bar was of excellent quality and generous proportions. This is a great place to walk sections of the coastal path...

After a long gap since our last visit we were welcomed with open arms to this wonderful historic place - imagine a harbour here built in 1590 but washed away in 1896. Thankfully the old harbour buildings survive and are providing a brilliant offer in this truly wonderful location. If you don't like views of jagged rocks and pounding surf...
